Kimai + Cursor
Kimai — the self-hosted open-source time tracker. Read and create timesheets, browse customers, projects, activities and users, and check the running clock. REST API v1 on your own Kimai instance, bearer API token.
Requisitos previos
Las instrucciones de configuración completas están incluidas en el conector (visibles en el store al seleccionarlo). Las variables de entorno requeridas:
KIMAI_URL, KIMAI_API_TOKEN
Paso 1 — Obtener credenciales
Getting a token (Kimai 2.x)
- Sign in to your Kimai instance, open your user profile and go to the API tab.
- Create an API token and copy it into
KIMAI_API_TOKEN. Kimai 2.x uses a bearer token here; the olderX-AUTH-USER/X-AUTH-TOKENheader pair from Kimai 1.x is deprecated and is not what this adapter sends. - Set
KIMAI_URLto the base URL of your instance without a trailing slash and without/api, e.g.https://time.example.com. The adapter appends/api.
…(continued in the in-app connector instructions)
Paso 2 — Instalar el adapter
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
Paso 3 — Añadir el conector en Cursor
Cursor lee servidores MCP desde ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Añade esta entrada:
{
"mcpServers": {
"anythingmcp": {
"url": "https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_MCP_API_KEY" }
}
}
}
- Obtén tu MCP API key desde AnythingMCP → Perfil → MCP API Keys → Nueva Key.
- Guarda el archivo y reinicia Cursor.
- Abre Cursor → Configuración → MCP para verificar que
Kimaiaparece como "Connected". - Empieza a chatear — todas las herramientas de
Kimaiestán disponibles.
