Paso 1 — Obtener credenciales
Solo X-Series: este conector usa la Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) API, antes Vend, versión 2026-10, de una tienda en https://<domain_prefix>.retail.lightspeed.app/api/2026-10. No cubre Lightspeed Retail R-Series ni Lightspeed Restaurant, que tienen otras API.
La configuración lleva unos 2 minutos. Los personal tokens requieren el plan Plus o superior y un usuario admin.
- Como admin abre el back office de Retail POS, Setup, Personal tokens, y pulsa Add personal token. Ponle un nombre (y, si quieres, una fecha de caducidad), genéralo y copia el token.
- Pégalo en
LIGHTSPEED_PERSONAL_TOKEN. Se envía comoAuthorization: Bearer <token>y actúa como el usuario que lo creó. - Pon en
LIGHTSPEED_DOMAIN_PREFIXla primera parte de la dirección de tu tienda: parahttps://mystore.retail.lightspeed.appesmystore. - Instala el conector y ejecuta
lightspeed_retail_get_retailer: muestra el nombre, la moneda y la zona horaria de la tienda y confirma el token.
Configuración de la tienda: lightspeed_retail_get_retailer, lightspeed_retail_get_current_user, puntos de venta (outlets) con lightspeed_retail_list_outlets y lightspeed_retail_get_outlet, cajas con lightspeed_retail_list_registers y lightspeed_retail_get_register, lightspeed_retail_get_register_payments_summary (importes esperados por medio de pago y movimientos de efectivo del turno abierto, como para cerrar la caja), medios de pago, impuestos, usuarios (personal) y turnos.
Ventas: para un periodo, un punto de venta, una caja, un cliente o un número de ticket la IA usa lightspeed_retail_search con type: sales y date_from/date_to; la lista simple ignora las fechas. lightspeed_retail_list_sales recorre todas las ventas por versión (para sincronizar) y lightspeed_retail_get_sale lee una venta con sus líneas, pagos, cliente, usuario y caja.
Catálogo: lightspeed_retail_list_products (o sku para un producto), lightspeed_retail_get_product, lightspeed_retail_get_product_family y lightspeed_retail_get_product_family_of_product. Desde la versión 2026-10 una familia de productos guarda los datos comunes (nombre, marca, categoría, etiquetas) y cada producto los datos de su variante (códigos, precios, proveedores). Datos de referencia: categorías, tipos de producto heredados, marcas, etiquetas, proveedores, tarifas (price books) y promociones.
Stock: lightspeed_retail_list_inventory_levels da existencias, coste medio, punto de pedido y cantidad de reposición por producto y punto de venta, con filtros, orden y to_be_procured_only para listas de reposición; lightspeed_retail_get_product_inventory_levels muestra un producto en todos los puntos de venta; lightspeed_retail_list_inventory_records y lightspeed_retail_list_stock_adjustments listan los registros en bruto y los ajustes. Los pedidos a proveedor, traspasos entre puntos de venta, devoluciones a proveedor e inventarios son consignments: lightspeed_retail_list_consignments, lightspeed_retail_get_consignment y lightspeed_retail_list_consignment_products (cantidades pedidas y recibidas). Las órdenes de compra se leen con lightspeed_retail_list_purchase_orders y lightspeed_retail_get_purchase_order.
Clientes: la IA encuentra un cliente con lightspeed_retail_search (type: customers, por email, nombre, código o teléfono) y después lee lightspeed_retail_get_customer (puntos de fidelidad, saldo a favor y saldo a cuenta, gasto en lo que va de año). Además lightspeed_retail_list_customers, lightspeed_retail_list_customer_groups, lightspeed_retail_get_customer_store_credit y las tarjetas regalo con lightspeed_retail_list_gift_cards y lightspeed_retail_get_gift_card.
Qué escribe: lightspeed_retail_create_sale registra una venta (state closed la cierra, parked o pending la guarda para después); lightspeed_retail_update_sale cambia o cierra una venta aparcada o pendiente y sustituye la venta entera, así que la IA la lee antes. Productos: lightspeed_retail_create_product_family, lightspeed_retail_add_products_to_family (variantes nuevas), lightspeed_retail_update_product_family para los datos comunes y lightspeed_retail_update_product para precios, códigos, proveedores, impuestos por punto de venta y ajustes de inventario. También lightspeed_retail_create_supplier, lightspeed_retail_create_stock_adjustments (quantity es la variación, negativa para dar de baja, con un motivo como daño, robo o stock encontrado), lightspeed_retail_create_consignment (se crea en estado OPEN; los productos se añaden en Lightspeed o más tarde), lightspeed_retail_create_customer y lightspeed_retail_update_customer (first_name y last_name son obligatorios). Las ventas y los ajustes cambian el stock y los informes al instante, así que la IA te enseña las líneas y los totales y espera tu sí.
Desactivadas al instalar: lightspeed_retail_return_sale, lightspeed_retail_delete_product y lightspeed_retail_delete_customer. No se pueden deshacer, así que un admin del workspace las activa cuando el equipo las necesita.
Formatos de datos: las respuestas envuelven los registros en data. Los ids son UUID. El dinero es un número decimal en la moneda de la tienda. Una venta tiene totals (price sin impuestos, tax, price_incl_tax); en cada línea pricing.price es el precio unitario sin impuestos, pricing.total el total de línea tras el descuento, pricing.cost_total el coste, y tax.amount y tax.total el impuesto por unidad y por línea. Los tipos de impuesto son fracciones (0.2 = 20 %). Las horas son UTC (ISO 8601): date_from/date_to aceptan UTC, time_from/time_to la hora local junto con timezone. El state de una venta es closed, parked, pending (a cuenta o con apartado) o voided.
Paginación: la mayoría de las listas paginan por versión: la respuesta trae version con min y max, la IA pasa max como after para la página siguiente y para cuando data llega vacío. lightspeed_retail_search y lightspeed_retail_list_inventory_levels paginan con offset; las tarjetas regalo con before.
Límites y errores comunes: unas 300 peticiones cada 5 minutos por caja más 50; por encima, Lightspeed responde 429 con Retry-After. 401 indica un token incorrecto o caducado o un prefijo de dominio erróneo. 403 indica que el usuario del token no puede hacerlo, ya que los personal tokens actúan como su usuario: crea el token con un admin. 404 en todas las llamadas significa que LIGHTSPEED_DOMAIN_PREFIX es incorrecto (solo la parte antes de .retail.lightspeed.app); en un registro concreto, un id erróneo. 422 es un error de validación con el campo indicado.
Con las herramientas activas al instalar, el conector no tramita devoluciones y no borra nada. Lee órdenes de compra, tarifas, promociones, saldo a favor y tarjetas regalo sin cambiarlos; un pedido nuevo a proveedor se crea como consignment.
