Redmine + Gemini
Redmine project management: issues with their journals, projects, versions, time entries, users and the enumerations behind statuses, priorities and trackers. REST API, API-key auth against your own instance.
Requisitos previos
REDMINE_URL, REDMINE_API_KEY
Paso 1 — Obtener credenciales
Turn the REST API on first. It is off by default.
- As an administrator go to Administration → Settings → API and tick Enable REST web service.
- Open My account for the user the agent should act as; the API access key is in the right-hand sidebar. Show it and copy it.
- Set
REDMINE_URLto your instance root (no trailing slash) andREDMINE_API_KEYto the key.
The header is X-Redmine-API-Key. Redmine also accepts the key as a key= query parameter, but a header keeps it out of the web server's access log.
…(continued in the in-app connector instructions)
Paso 2 — Instalar el adapter
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
{
"mcpServers": {
"anythingmcp": {
"httpUrl": "https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_MCP_API_KEY" }
}
}
}
- Obtén tu MCP API key desde AnythingMCP → Perfil → MCP API Keys → Nueva Key.
- Guarda el archivo y reinicia
gemini. - Ejecuta
Herramientas disponibles
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
redmine_get_current_user | Read the user the API key belongs to, with their login, name, e-mail and project memberships |
redmine_list_projects | List projects with their id, identifier, name, description and status |
redmine_list_issues | List issues with Redmine's filter operators |

redmine_list_time_entries | List logged time entries with their user, issue, project, date, hours and activity — the raw data behind any effort report |

redmine_list_issue_statuses | List the issue statuses this instance defines, with their id and whether each closes the issue |

redmine_add_issue_note | Add a note to an issue |
