Configurar Seal Subscriptions

Directamente de la definición del conector: dónde encontrar las credenciales, qué permisos necesitan y con qué API habla este adaptador. Proporcionadas en inglés por el autor del conector.

Seal Subscriptions

This connector calls the Seal Subscriptions merchant API (https://app.sealsubscriptions.com/shopify/merchant/api) of one Shopify shop with that shop's API token: subscriptions and their charges, items, discounts and shipping details, subscription rules and webhooks.

Setup (about 2 minutes)

  1. In Shopify admin open Apps > Seal Subscriptions > Settings > General Settings > API.
  2. Copy the API token (not the API secret, which only signs webhooks) into SEAL_SUBSCRIPTIONS_API_TOKEN and install. It is sent in the X-Seal-Token header, only to Seal.
  3. The token belongs to one shop; install the connector once per shop.

Ids: every subscription has an id and an internal_id. The tools always take id. Billing attempt ids, item ids and discount ids come from seal_subscriptions_get_subscription (or seal_subscriptions_list_subscriptions with with_billing_attempts / with_items).

Tools

  • Read: seal_subscriptions_list_subscriptions (search by customer e-mail or name, filter by status, 50 per page with page), seal_subscriptions_list_by_billing_date (charges in a UTC window, cursor paging), seal_subscriptions_get_subscription, seal_subscriptions_list_rules, seal_subscriptions_get_rule, seal_subscriptions_list_webhooks, seal_subscriptions_get_payment_update_url.
  • Change a subscription: seal_subscriptions_pause_subscription, seal_subscriptions_resume_subscription, seal_subscriptions_update_subscription, seal_subscriptions_add_items, seal_subscriptions_edit_items, seal_subscriptions_apply_discount_code, seal_subscriptions_send_payment_update_email.
  • Change a charge: seal_subscriptions_skip_billing_attempt, seal_subscriptions_unskip_billing_attempt, seal_subscriptions_reschedule_billing_attempt.
  • Webhooks: seal_subscriptions_create_webhook.
  • Installed switched off (turn on per tool when the workspace wants them): seal_subscriptions_cancel_subscription, seal_subscriptions_schedule_cancellation, seal_subscriptions_remove_items, seal_subscriptions_remove_discount_code, seal_subscriptions_delete_webhook, the two tools that take money now (seal_subscriptions_charge_now, seal_subscriptions_process_billing_attempt) and seal_subscriptions_get_customer_magic_link, whose link lets anyone holding it change that customer's subscriptions.

Every write acts on a real customer's subscription. Before any change, say which subscription (customer, id) and what will change, and wait for the user's yes. Skips, pauses and charges are seen by the customer.

Dates: seal_subscriptions_list_by_billing_date takes UTC date-times written 2026-10-19T00:00:00. Rescheduling and scheduled cancellation take date (YYYY-MM-DD), time (HH:MM) and timezone (an offset such as +02:00).

Privacy: subscriptions carry customer names, e-mail, phone, addresses and the last card digits; show only what the user needs. The customer's secret edit_url is removed from the answers.

Common errors

  • 403 Access forbidden.: the token is wrong, revoked or from another shop. Copy it again from Seal Settings > General Settings > API.
  • 503: Seal allows 10 requests at a time per token. Wait for running calls to finish and retry once.
  • 404 or success: false: the id does not exist or the action is not allowed in the subscription's state (for example skipping a charge already processed).

Out of scope here: creating subscriptions, deleting subscriptions or single billing attempts, editing subscription rules, fulfillment orders of prepaid subscriptions and quick checkout links.
