Packlink PRO

This connector works with a Packlink PRO business account through the Packlink API (https://api.packlink.com/v1), the API Packlink's own shop plugins (WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento, Shopware) use: shipping quotes across carriers, carrier service details, drop-off points, postal code checks, sender addresses and parcel presets, shipment drafts, shipment details, labels and tracking. Packlink PRO is available in Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Ireland and other countries.

Setup (2 minutes)

1. Sign in at https://pro.packlink.com, open Settings (top right) and choose Packlink PRO API key in the left menu.
2. Click Generate API key (or copy the existing one) and paste it into PACKLINK_API_KEY. The key stays valid until it is regenerated; the shop plugins of the same account can share it.
3. Run packlink_get_account to check the key.

Workflow

• Account and defaults: packlink_get_account, packlink_list_warehouses (sender addresses; default_selection: true is the default) and packlink_list_parcel_presets (saved box sizes).
• Quote a parcel: packlink_search_services with the sender country and postal code (from a warehouse), the recipient country and postal code and the parcel's weight and size. Compare price.total_price (tax included), transit_time and first_estimated_delivery_date. packlink_get_service gives the carrier's details for one service id. If no service comes back, check the codes with packlink_get_postal_codes.
• Drop-off services: when a service has dropoff: true the sender hands the parcel in at a shop instead of a pickup; when it has delivery_to_parcelshop: true the recipient collects it at one. packlink_list_dropoffs lists the closest points; pass the chosen id as dropoff_point_id.
• Prepare a shipment: packlink_create_draft_shipment with sender, recipient, parcels, contents and, ideally, the chosen service_id. It returns the shipment reference. The draft is not paid and not booked: the user completes and pays it in Packlink PRO (Shipments, pending), which also asks for customs data for shipments outside the EU customs union.
• After payment: packlink_get_shipment for the state, carrier tracking numbers and costs, packlink_get_shipment_labels for the PDF label links (from state READY_TO_PRINT on), packlink_get_shipment_tracking for the carrier's events.

Reading the answers: weights are kilograms, dimensions centimetres (whole numbers), prices in the account currency (currency, usually EUR or GBP) with total_price including tax. Country codes are two-letter ISO codes in requests; addresses inside a shipment may show the country name in the account language. Quotes are a snapshot: the price charged is the one shown in Packlink PRO at payment.

Not available here: the Packlink API used by the plugins has no documented call to list all shipments or carriers, so this connector reads shipments by reference only (keep the reference returned by the draft, or copy it from Packlink PRO), and carriers appear through the quotes. Paying, cancelling and booking pickups happen in Packlink PRO.

Errors: 401 or 403 means the API key is wrong or was regenerated; 400 and 422 return messages with the fields Packlink rejected (for example a postal code that does not match the country); 404 an unknown shipment reference or service id.
