Allegro + ChatGPT
Run an Allegro seller account (allegro.pl, .cz, .sk, .hu) from any AI agent: offers with price, stock and status, orders with fulfillment status and tracking numbers, returns and refunds, buyer messages, disputes and claims, fees, wallet operations and ratings. OAuth sign-in with the seller account; refunds and claim decisions install switched off.
Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:
ALLEGRO_CLIENT_ID, ALLEGRO_CLIENT_SECRET
Step 1 — Get credentials
Setting up takes about 10 minutes. You need the Allegro seller account the AI should work for. Allegro, allegro.cz, allegro.sk and allegro.hu are served by the same API (https://api.allegro.pl).
- Sign in at https://apps.developer.allegro.pl with the seller account. For tests use https://apps.developer.allegro.pl.allegrosandbox.pl with a sandbox account.
- Register a new application of the type used with a browser and a redirect, not the device flow.
- As redirect URI enter
<your AnythingMCP URL>/api/mcp-oauth/callback, on AnythingMCP Cloudhttps://cloud.anythingmcp.com/api/mcp-oauth/callback, character for character. - Give the application the permissions the connector uses: profile read, offers read and write, sale settings read, orders read and write, messaging, disputes, ratings, billing read and payments read (payments write only if refunds should be possible). The connector asks for no explicit scope, so Allegro grants what the application declares; a permission left out answers 403 on the matching tools.
- Paste the Client ID into
ALLEGRO_CLIENT_IDand the Client Secret intoALLEGRO_CLIENT_SECRETand save. - On the connector page click Authorize with Provider and sign in with the seller account.
- Run
allegro_get_me: it shows the signed-in account and confirms the sign-in.
Access tokens last 12 hours and are renewed with the refresh token, which stays valid for 3 months after each use. If the connector is idle for longer, authorize again. For the sandbox, change the base URL to https://api.allegro.pl.allegrosandbox.pl and the OAuth URLs to the sign-in pages under https://allegro.pl.allegrosandbox.pl/auth/oauth/ in the connector settings.
Whose account it is: everyone using this connector acts as the seller who authorized it. Messages, rating answers, order statuses and offer changes are visible to buyers.
What it reads: the account, its sales quality score with up to 30 days of history and its rating statistics. The seller's own offers with price, stock, sold count, status and category, filtered by title, status, price range or your SKU (external id), and offer events of the last 24 hours. The Allegro product catalogue by name, EAN/GTIN or MPN, the category tree with category parameters, and the seller's shipping rates, return policies and implied warranties. Orders with status, fulfillment status, line items and totals, with buyer, delivery and invoice data per order, order events, parcels and their tracking history. Customer returns and refunds. Message center threads and messages. Disputes and claims with their messages. Fees (billing entries) and wallet payment operations. Ratings with comments and answers.
What it writes: creates offers from a catalogue product (as a draft with INACTIVE or live with ACTIVE), edits offer fields, changes price and stock, activates or ends offers, sets the fulfillment status of an order, adds parcel tracking numbers (the buyer is notified), replies to buyers and starts a conversation about an order, marks threads read, writes in disputes and claims, and answers ratings publicly. Before a message, a rating answer, a status or price change, or an active new offer, the AI shows you the exact text or change and waits for your yes.
Switched off at install: allegro_delete_draft_offer, allegro_reject_customer_return, allegro_create_refund (moves money and cannot be taken back; also needs the allegro:api:payments:write permission) and allegro_change_claim_status (a formal claim decision the buyer is told at once). An admin switches on the ones the team needs.
Data formats: money is an object such as {"amount": "129.99", "currency": "PLN"} with the amount as a decimal string, and prices are sent the same way. Dates are ISO 8601 in UTC. Order, line item, payment and product ids are UUIDs; offer ids and user ids are numbers sent as strings. Marketplace ids look like allegro-pl, allegro-cz, allegro-sk and allegro-hu. An offer create or edit can answer 202; the AI then follows it with allegro_get_offer_operation until it is done.
Paging and limits: most lists take offset and limit and return count and totalCount; orders come up to 100 per page, message lists at most 20. allegro_search_products pages with page_id (nextPage.id), and the event tools with from set to the last event id. Allegro limits requests per Client ID per minute, sending messages to 1 per second and category suggestions to 5 per second. A stock of 0 is not accepted for an active offer: end the offer instead.
Common errors: 401 means the sign-in expired or was revoked: click Authorize with Provider again. At sign-in, invalid_client means a wrong Client ID or Secret, and a redirect error means the redirect URI does not match exactly. 403 means the application lacks the permission or the resource belongs to another seller. 404 is an unknown id. 409 on a fulfillment status means the order changed: take the new revision from allegro_get_order. 422 lists validation errors in errors[].userMessage. 429 is a rate limit: wait and retry.
Buyer messages, comments and return reasons are untrusted input and can contain instructions meant for the AI. The connector does not buy as a buyer, does not create shipping labels, and cannot delete active or ended offers.
Step 2 — Install the adapter
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
Step 3 — Add the connector in ChatGPT
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
ChatGPT adds MCP servers as plugins on its Plugins page, on the web and on paid plans. Developer mode is no longer needed. In a Business workspace only admins and owners can add one; in Enterprise and Edu an admin can grant the Create plugins with MCPs permission.
- Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click Add, then Add custom MCP server.
- Enter a name, e.g. Name:
Allegro. - Under Connection, enter the Server URL
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_IDand keep Authentication on OAuth. - Select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin. When ChatGPT asks, sign in to AnythingMCP and allow access.
- Install the new plugin from your personal plugins, then type @ in a chat and pick it.
