Aurora Inbox + Claude
Aurora Inbox WhatsApp CRM and shared inbox (Latin America), read-only: sales funnel and pipeline stages per team, chats with tags and opportunities, contacts and companies, users, WhatsApp channels and templates, calendar events and appointment bookings.
Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:
AURORA_INBOX_API_KEY
Step 1 — Get credentials
Setting up takes about 2 minutes. All you need is the API key of your Aurora Inbox account.
- Ask your Aurora Inbox administrator or Aurora support for the API key of your account. It starts with
ak_live_and reaches the whole account, so keep it like a password. - Paste the key into
AURORA_INBOX_API_KEY, without spaces or quotes. The connector sends it in theX-Api-Keyheader. - Install the connector and run
aurora_inbox_list_teams: it lists your teams with their members and shows that the key works.
What it reads: your teams (the sales or support pipelines) with their members and pipeline stages; the sales funnel of a team, with the number of opportunities and the deal amount per stage, filtered by creation date and by assigned user; chats on WhatsApp, Messenger and other channels, with contact, assigned agents, unread count, unanswered flag, tags and the opportunities linked to each chat; contacts with their custom property values, and companies; the users (agents) of the account; the connected channels (WhatsApp Business, WhatsApp Cloud API, Messenger) and your WhatsApp message templates with category, language, status and content; calendar events, including synced external calendars; and appointment bookings with service, location, provider, start, end and status, plus the services, locations and providers that can be booked.
Read-only: the connector changes nothing in Aurora Inbox, so there is nothing to confirm. aurora_inbox_search_chats is sent as a POST request, but it only searches.
How the AI finds things: ids are UUIDs, so the AI takes them from the list tools instead of guessing: a team id for stages, the funnel and chat filters, a channel id from aurora_inbox_list_channels for the chat search. Chat search returns 25 chats per page, latest activity first. Contacts, companies and templates come up to 100 per page, and the contact list says how many contacts there are in total.
Dates and times: date filters take ISO 8601, for example 2026-10-01T00:00:00Z. Times come back in UTC unless a time zone can be passed, and the AI converts them to your local time (Bogotá UTC-5, Mexico City UTC-6, São Paulo UTC-3) before quoting them. Bookings carry a status number (0 pending, 1 confirmed, 2 completed, 3 cancelled, 4 no-show, 5 rescheduled), which the AI translates for you. A template's status reflects the last sync with Meta.
Limits: Aurora allows bursts of 20 requests and 10 requests a second per account. Above that it answers 429 with a Retry-After header that says how long to wait.
Common errors: 401 means the API key is missing or wrong. 404 means the id does not exist in this account: let the AI fetch it again from the matching list tool.
The connector sends no WhatsApp or other messages, and it does not create or change chats, contacts, companies, tags, opportunities, templates, calendar events or bookings.
Step 2 — Install the adapter
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
Step 3 — Add the connector in Claude
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
Recommended path: works on claude.ai web without editing any config file.
