BigCommerce + Cursor
Drive BigCommerce (SaaS e-commerce platform) from any AI agent: products, variants, orders, customers, categories. 14 tools, API-key (X-Auth-Token) auth, per-store base URL.
Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:
BIGCOMMERCE_STORE_HASH, BIGCOMMERCE_ACCESS_TOKEN
Step 1 — Get credentials
bigcommerce.com/docs/rest-catalog).
Setup:
- Sign in to BigCommerce → Settings → API → API Accounts → Create API Account → V2/V3 API token.
- Pick scopes — at minimum: Products (Read+Write), Orders (Read+Write), Customers (Read+Write), Information & Settings (Read).
- Copy the Access Token and note the API path — looks like
https://api.bigcommerce.com/stores/{STORE_HASH}/v3/. - Set:
BIGCOMMERCE_STORE_HASH= the alphanumeric store hash from the URL (e.g.abcd1234)BIGCOMMERCE_ACCESS_TOKEN= the access token
Authentication: header X-Auth-Token: ${BIGCOMMERCE_ACCESS_TOKEN}. The base URL embeds the store hash.
…(continued in the in-app connector instructions)

"mcpServers": {
"anythingmcp": {
"url": "https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_MCP_API_KEY" }
}
}
}
- Get your MCP API key from AnythingMCP → Profile → MCP API Keys → New Key.
- Save the file and restart Cursor.
- Open Cursor → Settings → MCP to verify
BigCommerceis listed and "Connected". - Start chatting — all
BigCommercetools are now invokable.
