Summary
Connect Bind ERP, the Mexican cloud ERP, to Claude or ChatGPT: clients and prospects, providers, products and inventory per warehouse, orders, quotes, sales with their CFDI XML, purchase orders, expenses, chart of accounts and journal entries, with OData filters. Writes and CFDI creation ship switched off.

Bind ERP + Gemini
Connect Bind ERP, the Mexican cloud ERP, to Claude or ChatGPT: clients and prospects, providers, products and inventory per warehouse, orders, quotes, sales with their CFDI XML, purchase orders, expenses, chart of accounts and journal entries, with OData filters. Writes and CFDI creation ship switched off.
Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:
BINDERP_API_TOKEN
Step 1 — Get credentials
Setting up takes about 5 minutes and needs nothing but your Bind ERP user.
- In Bind ERP, click your user name at the top right and open Perfil.
- Open the Integraciones tab of your profile, enter your password and click Generar API Key.
- Copy the long key Bind shows (a JWT, three parts separated by dots) and paste it into
BINDERP_API_TOKEN, alone, without the word Bearer, quotes or spaces. - Install the connector and run
binderp_get_user_profile: it shows the user the key belongs to, with name, email and role.
The key acts as you: it carries the permissions of the Bind user who generated it, so generate it as a user who may see what the AI needs, ideally one whose role you can limit.
The key lasts one year: Bind's API key expires one year after you generate it, and an expired key answers 401. Put a reminder in your calendar, generate a new key under Perfil, Integraciones, Generar API Key before the year is over, and paste it here.
What it reads: the company profile (legal and commercial name, RFC, tax regime, address and when the CFDI signing certificate, the CSD, expires); users, branches (sucursales), warehouses (almacenes), price lists, currencies, bank accounts with balances and document series; clients with RFC, credit days and limit, addresses and balance; prospects; providers; products, services and production formulas with SAT keys and taxes; stock per warehouse, merchandise receptions and transfers; sales (ventas) with serie, number, UUID, taxes, payments and status; client orders (pedidos), quotes (cotizaciones), purchase orders and expense orders with their payments; the chart of accounts and journal entries (pólizas contables); and CRM activities and comments.
Your CFDI as XML: binderp_get_invoice_xml returns the stamped CFDI XML of a sale, the document registered with the SAT, as text, so the AI can read the UUID, taxes and concepts or hand the file on.
Filters and IDs: list tools take OData filters, for example RFC eq 'XAXX010101000' or a date range, plus ordering and paging (50 rows a page by default). Many tools need the ID of a branch, a warehouse, a price list or a currency, which the AI looks up once per conversation with binderp_list_locations, binderp_list_warehouses, binderp_list_price_lists and binderp_list_currencies.
Switched off at install: every write. That is binderp_create_client, binderp_update_client, binderp_create_prospect, binderp_add_comment, binderp_create_product, binderp_create_order, binderp_create_quote and binderp_create_invoice. binderp_update_client replaces the whole record, so every field to keep has to be sent too. binderp_create_invoice with IsFiscalInvoice true stamps a CFDI with the SAT, a legal tax document that can only be undone by a formal cancellation. An administrator turns on only what is needed, and even then the AI shows you the client, lines, taxes and CFDI use and waits for your yes.
Limits: with the API key alone, Bind allows 150 calls every 5 minutes and 5,000 a day. Registering on Bind's developer portal and asking Bind for a subscription doubles that. The AI prefers filtered lists over paging through everything, and after a rate limit it waits a few minutes.
Common errors: 401 means the key is wrong, revoked or older than one year. 403 means the key works but its Bind user lacks the permission. 404 on a detail tool usually means a wrong or deleted ID.
The connector does not register payments, bank movements, inventory adjustments or credit notes, and no tool moves money.
Step 2 — Install the adapter
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
Step 3 — Add the connector in Gemini
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
Gemini CLI reads MCP servers from ~/.gemini/settings.json (on Windows %USERPROFILE%\.gemini\settings.json). Add:
{
"mcpServers": {
"anythingmcp": {
"httpUrl": "https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID",
"headers": { "X-API-Key": "YOUR_MCP_API_KEY" }
}
}
}
- Create an MCP API key in AnythingMCP under MCP Servers → your server → API keys, and paste it in place of
YOUR_MCP_API_KEY. - Save the file and restart
gemini. - Run
/mcpinside Gemini CLI (orgemini mcp listin your shell):anythingmcpshould show as connected. - Start prompting: Gemini CLI can now call the
Bind ERPtools.

FAQ
Where does Gemini CLI look for MCP servers? In ~/.gemini/settings.json for your user, or in .gemini/settings.json inside a project. gemini mcp list shows each server and whether it connects.
