Copper CRM + Cursor

Drive Copper (Google Workspace-native CRM) from any AI agent: people, companies, opportunities, leads, activities, tasks. 12 tools, API-token auth with email + token + appname headers.

Prerequisites

See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:

COPPER_API_KEY, COPPER_USER_EMAIL, COPPER_APP_NAME

Step 1 — Get credentials

copper.com).

Setup:

  1. Sign in to Copper → top-right avatar → Settings → Integrations → API Keys → Generate API Key.
  2. Copy: the key + the email of the user it belongs to.
  3. Set:
    • COPPER_API_KEY = generated key
    • COPPER_USER_EMAIL = the email of the API key owner
    • COPPER_APP_NAME = a label for your integration (e.g. anythingmcp)

Authentication: three custom headers — X-PW-AccessToken: ${COPPER_API_KEY}, X-PW-Application: developer_api, X-PW-UserEmail: ${COPPER_USER_EMAIL}. Quirky but it's Copper's convention.

…(continued in the in-app connector instructions)

Step 2 — Install the adapter

git clone https://github.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp.git
cd anythingmcp && docker compose up -d

Step 3 — Add the connector in Cursor

Cursor reads MCP servers from ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Add this entry:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "anythingmcp": {
      "url": "https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_MCP_API_KEY" }
    }
  }
}
  1. Get your MCP API key from AnythingMCP → Profile → MCP API Keys → New Key.
  2. Save the file and restart Cursor.
  3. Open Cursor → Settings → MCP to verify Copper CRM is listed and "Connected".
  4. Start chatting — all Copper CRM tools are now invokable.
