Summary
Let your AI work with Eventbrite: list your events, attendees with check-in state, orders, ticket types, venues, discount codes and sales reports, and create, update and publish events, tickets, venues and event descriptions after you confirm.

Eventbrite + Meta Muse
Let your AI work with Eventbrite: list your events, attendees with check-in state, orders, ticket types, venues, discount codes and sales reports, and create, update and publish events, tickets, venues and event descriptions after you confirm.
Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:
EVENTBRITE_PRIVATE_TOKEN
Step 1 — Get credentials
- Sign in to Eventbrite and open Account settings → Developer links → API keys (
https://www.eventbrite.com/platform/api-keys). If there is no key yet, click Create API key and fill in the short form. - Copy the Private token (not the API key, the client secret or the public token) into
EVENTBRITE_PRIVATE_TOKEN, without the word Bearer, and install the connector. The token is sent only to Eventbrite. - Check the setup with
eventbrite_get_current_user, theneventbrite_list_my_organizations: almost every tool needs the organization id from there (it is not the organizer id from a profile URL).
Who sees what: the token acts as the Eventbrite user who created it, with all of their organizations. Share the MCP server only with people allowed to see attendees and orders.
What it reads: your organizations and their events (upcoming by default, past or all on request), event details and the long description, ticket types with price, capacity and sales, attendees with their check-in state, orders per event or across the organization with the full cost breakdown, saved venues, discount, access and promo codes, and sales reports by day, ticket type, payment method, country or sales channel.
No public event search: Eventbrite removed public event search from its API in 2019, so no connector can search all events on Eventbrite. This one works with the events of your own organizations: it lists, analyses, builds and publishes them.
Building an event, after your yes: the AI saves a venue with eventbrite_create_venue (or picks one with eventbrite_list_venues), creates the event as a draft with eventbrite_create_event, adds ticket types with eventbrite_create_ticket_class and the description with eventbrite_set_event_description, and puts the event live with eventbrite_publish_event. It shows you each step and waits for your confirmation; the same goes for eventbrite_update_event, eventbrite_update_ticket_class and eventbrite_unpublish_event. Setting the description replaces all of its blocks, images and videos included, so the AI reads the current one first. Publishing needs a description, an organizer, at least one ticket type and, for paid tickets, payout settings in Eventbrite.
Switched off at install: eventbrite_cancel_event and eventbrite_delete_event. An administrator turns them on deliberately. Both work only while an event has no orders, and the same is true for unpublishing.
Dates and prices: times are sent in UTC together with the event timezone (such as Europe/Berlin). Ticket prices are written as currency and amount in the smallest unit: EUR,2500 is 25.00 EUR. A ticket's price cannot change once tickets were sold, and the event currency cannot change once paid tickets were sold.
Limits: Eventbrite allows 2,000 calls an hour per token.
Common errors: 401 INVALID_AUTH: the token is wrong or revoked, or the API key was pasted instead of the private token. 403 NOT_AUTHORIZED: your user has no permission for this organization or event. 400 ARGUMENTS_ERROR and similar: a field is invalid, and the answer names it (for example DATE_CONFLICT or CANNOT_UNPUBLISH). 404 NOT_FOUND: no such event, order or organization for this user. 429 HIT_RATE_LIMIT: the hourly limit is reached; wait and retry.
The connector does not cover refunds, check-in through the API, inventory tiers and reserved seating, ticket groups, custom questions, webhooks, media upload, series schedules or copying events.
Step 2 — Install the adapter
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
Step 3 — Add the connector in Muse
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
Muse adds remote MCP servers as custom connectors and signs in to them with OAuth.
- In Muse, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the MCP server URL
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID. - Muse opens the AnythingMCP sign-in page: sign in and approve access.
- In a chat, ask Muse for something that needs the
Eventbritetools.
You can also set it up from a chat, on the web, in the iOS and Android apps or in WhatsApp. Send Muse this message:
Create a Custom Connector for a new remote MCP server, then connect to it:
Name: AnythingMCP
Transport: remote streamable HTTP
URL: https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID
Auth: OAuth
Self-hosting? Use your instance's public HTTPS address instead of https://cloud.anythingmcp.com. Muse connects from Meta's cloud, so localhost does not work.

FAQ
Where is Muse available? Meta currently offers Muse in the US and Canada, on the web, in the iOS and Android apps and in WhatsApp.
Does Meta review this connector? No. Meta doesn't review custom connectors. Muse sees only the tools you switched on for this MCP server in AnythingMCP, and you can disconnect it anytime under Settings → Connectors.
