Start a free trial on cloud.anythingmcp.com, add the GetMyInvoices in one click, then point your AI client (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Cursor) at the generated MCP endpoint. No Docker, no git clone, zero engineering experience required.
Summary
Let your AI work with the invoices and documents GetMyInvoices collects for you: search incoming and sales invoices, receipts and credit notes by supplier, date and payment status, read line items and OCR text, fetch original files and attachments, and look up suppliers and portals. Read-only, with an API key from your account.

GetMyInvoices + Meta Muse
Let your AI work with the invoices and documents GetMyInvoices collects for you: search incoming and sales invoices, receipts and credit notes by supplier, date and payment status, read line items and OCR text, fetch original files and attachments, and look up suppliers and portals. Read-only, with an API key from your account.
Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:
GETMYINVOICES_API_KEY
Step 1 — Get credentials
- Sign in to the GetMyInvoices web app, open your profile menu at the top right and choose API access.
- Click Add API Key, set the key's permissions and save it. The connector only reads, so the key needs no more than access to your documents and companies.
- Copy the key into
GETMYINVOICES_API_KEYand install the connector. The key is stored encrypted and sent in theX-API-KEYheader of every request to the v3 Accounts API. There is no Authorize with Provider step. - Start with
getmyinvoices_list_companiesto check the key: it should list the suppliers and online portals your account collects documents from, each with itscompanyUid.
Read-only by design: all 6 tools only read. The AI can search and open documents, attachments and companies, but it cannot upload, edit or delete a document, mark an invoice as paid, or change a portal. There is nothing to switch off for a read-only setup.
Finding documents: invoices, receipts, credit notes and payroll documents all come from getmyinvoices_list_documents, told apart by their document type (INCOMING_INVOICE, SALES_INVOICE, RECEIPT, CREDIT_NOTE, PAYROLL). The AI narrows the list with a free-text search, a supplier (companyUid, or -1 for documents without one), a document date range and the payment status (paid, not_paid, unknown). Results come in pages of 500 by default; the response says how many pages there are, and the AI pages through them.
New or changed since: to see only documents added or modified after a point in time, the AI sets updatedOrNewSinceFilter. It takes a full date and time such as 2026-01-01 00:00:00; a plain date is rejected with 422.
Files and OCR text: getmyinvoices_get_document returns one document with its metadata and, on request, its line items, the OCR text and the original file as base64. Files make answers large, so the AI leaves the file out (includeDocument set to false) when it only needs amounts, dates or text. Extra files attached to a document come from getmyinvoices_list_document_attachments and getmyinvoices_get_document_attachment.
Suppliers and portals: GetMyInvoices calls both companies. getmyinvoices_list_companies filters by status (active, inactive, pending) and type (ONLINE_PORTAL or CUSTOM_COMPANY), and getmyinvoices_get_company shows one in full, with its linked portal records.
Rate limits: GetMyInvoices limits requests per minute and per hour. When a limit is reached it answers 429 with a Retry-After header: wait that long and try again. Filtering by date or supplier keeps the number of calls down.
Common errors: 401 or 403 usually means the key is wrong, was deleted or lacks the permission for that call: create a new one under API access. 422 points to an invalid filter value, most often a plain date in updatedOrNewSinceFilter. 429 is the rate limit described above.
The connector does not upload documents, edit or delete them, set payment status, or manage portal connections and their fetch runs.
Step 2 — Install the adapter
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
Step 3 — Add the connector in Muse
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
Muse adds remote MCP servers as custom connectors and signs in to them with OAuth.
- In Muse, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the MCP server URL
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID. - Muse opens the AnythingMCP sign-in page: sign in and approve access.
- In a chat, ask Muse for something that needs the
GetMyInvoicestools.
You can also set it up from a chat, on the web, in the iOS and Android apps or in WhatsApp. Send Muse this message:
Create a Custom Connector for a new remote MCP server, then connect to it:
Name: AnythingMCP
Transport: remote streamable HTTP
URL: https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID
Auth: OAuth
Self-hosting? Use your instance's public HTTPS address instead of https://cloud.anythingmcp.com. Muse connects from Meta's cloud, so localhost does not work.

FAQ
Where is Muse available? Meta currently offers Muse in the US and Canada, on the web, in the iOS and Android apps and in WhatsApp.
Does Meta review this connector? No. Meta doesn't review custom connectors. Muse sees only the tools you switched on for this MCP server in AnythingMCP, and you can disconnect it anytime under Settings → Connectors.
