Haufe X360 + ChatGPT
Haufe X360 cloud ERP (the German Acumatica edition): customers, vendors, stock items, sales orders, A/R invoices and shipments over the contract-based REST API. Session login with an X360 user. Read-only.
Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:
X360_URL, X360_TENANT, X360_ENDPOINT_VERSION, X360_USERNAME, X360_PASSWORD
Step 1 — Get credentials
- Ask your X360 administrator or Haufe partner for a dedicated integration user with the roles for the screens it should read: customers, vendors, stock items, sales orders, invoices and shipments. X360 checks the same access rights as in the browser, so the AI sees only what this user may see.
- Set
X360_URLto the address you open X360 with in the browser, up to but not including/Mainor/Frames, with no trailing slash. - Set
X360_TENANTto the tenant (company) name you pick on the X360 login screen. - Set
X360_ENDPOINT_VERSIONto a version of the Default endpoint listed on the Web Service Endpoints form (SM207060), for example24.200.001. Older versions such as20.200.001or23.200.001work too: the fields these tools use are the same in all of them. - Set
X360_USERNAMEandX360_PASSWORDto the login of the integration user. - Install the connector and run
haufe_x360_list_customerswith a small number of records to check the connection.
Built on Acumatica: Haufe X360 is the German Acumatica edition, and every X360 tenant comes with Acumatica's predefined Default web service endpoint. That is the endpoint the connector reads.
Read-only by design: the AI reads customers, vendors, stock items, sales orders, A/R invoices with credit memos, and shipments. No tool creates, changes or releases a document.
Sessions and licence: your X360 licence limits how many API sessions may be open at once. The connector keeps one session, reuses it for every call and signs in again when it expires.
Ask for a few records first: without a limit the API returns every record, so the AI always asks for a limited number of records on a first call. Order and invoice lines come only when it expands Details; otherwise it reads the header only.
What it answers well: which A/R invoices are still open and for how much (haufe_x360_list_invoices), sales orders by status with their lines (haufe_x360_list_sales_orders), which sales orders a shipment fulfils (haufe_x360_list_shipments), and the payment terms and credit settings of a customer (haufe_x360_get_customer).
Creating, changing or releasing documents is out of scope, as is anything beyond customers, vendors, stock items, sales orders, A/R invoices and shipments.
Step 2 — Install the adapter
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
Step 3 — Add the connector in ChatGPT
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
ChatGPT adds MCP servers as plugins on its Plugins page, on the web and on paid plans. Developer mode is no longer needed. In a Business workspace only admins and owners can add one; in Enterprise and Edu an admin can grant the Create plugins with MCPs permission.
- Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click Add, then Add custom MCP server.
- Enter a name, e.g. Name:
Haufe X360. - Under Connection, enter the Server URL
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_IDand keep Authentication on OAuth. - Select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin. When ChatGPT asks, sign in to AnythingMCP and allow access.
- Install the new plugin from your personal plugins, then type @ in a chat and pick it.
