Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:

Step 1 — Get credentials
The connector calls the official Mangools API with your account's API key. It only reads: nothing is created or changed in the account.
- Log in at mangools.com and open mangools.com/api-token.
- Copy the API key shown there into
MANGOOLS_API_KEY. Every Mangools plan includes API access; quotas follow the plan. - Call
mangools_get_limitsfirst to see what is left. Related and competitor keywords and keyword metrics spend keyword lookups, keyword SERP and SERPChecker spend SERP lookups, and backlinks spend one backlink row per returned link. Repeating an identical lookup within 24 hours is free (except keyword metrics), and tools that read saved data (keyword lists, lookup history, trackings, AI monitors, locations) spend nothing. - For a domain, call
mangools_get_site_overviewfirst: the backlink profile, top content, competitors and audience tools answer 429Not in historywithout an overview of the same URL in the last 24 hours.
API keys may send 3 requests per 30 seconds per resource pool, so send calls one at a time, never in parallel. A 429 of type RateLimit means wait 30 seconds and send the same request once; CreditLimit means the quota is spent and waiting does not help. A 403 means your plan does not include that tool.
Step 2 — Install the adapter

Step 3 — Add the connector in Muse
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (

Where is Muse available? Meta currently offers Muse in the US and Canada, on the web, in the iOS and Android apps and in WhatsApp.
Does Meta review this connector? No. Meta doesn't review custom connectors. Muse sees only the tools you switched on for this MCP server in AnythingMCP, and you can disconnect it anytime under Settings → Connectors.
