Step 1 — Get credentials
Setting up takes about 3 minutes and needs nothing but your Moedelo account.
- Sign in to Moedelo and open Настройки, then Интеграция с партнерами (integration with partners).
- Turn the integration on and copy the API key it shows. It looks like a GUID,
xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx. If your account has no such option, request API access on moedelo.org or from [email protected]. - Paste the key into
MOEDELO_API_KEY, alone, without quotes or spaces. - Install the connector and run
moedelo_list_kontragentswith a page size of 1: if a counterparty comes back, the key works.
One key, one company: the key opens the data of one company. If you keep books for a second company, install the connector again with that company's key.
How Moedelo is organised: counterparties (контрагенты) are customers and suppliers at once, and their numeric id filters every document list. On the sales side there are bills (счета), acts (акты), waybills (накладные, ТОРГ-12), VAT invoices (счета-фактуры, regular and advance) and UPDs; a bill's linked documents show the acts, waybills and payments that close it. Purchase documents mirror them for suppliers. Bill status 4 means unpaid, 5 partly paid and 6 paid. Amounts are in roubles.
What it reads: counterparties with INN, KPP, OGRN, addresses, bank accounts and contact persons; contracts (договоры); sales bills, acts, waybills, VAT invoices, advance VAT invoices and UPDs with their positions and VAT, plus the documents linked to a bill or UPD; retail sales reports; received acts, waybills, VAT invoices and UPDs from suppliers; the register of all bank and cash operations for a period, each operation in full, the company's own bank accounts, cash desks and cash balances on a date; warehouses, goods and services; the chart of accounts and the postings (проводки) Moedelo generated for a document; employees; and the tax calendar with report and payment deadlines.
Filters: document lists filter by number, by document date (docAfterDate, docBeforeDate) or change date, and by counterparty, and they page with pageNo (from 1) and pageSize. An empty result means nothing matched the filters.
Switched off at install: moedelo_create_kontragent, moedelo_update_kontragent and moedelo_create_bill. moedelo_update_kontragent replaces the whole record, so every field to keep has to be sent too. A bill only records what is owed: no payment is made or registered. An administrator turns on only what is needed, and even then the AI shows you the counterparty, positions and VAT and waits for your yes.
Personal data: employees and counterparties that are people (individuals and sole traders) are personal data under 152-FZ. Share what the AI reads about them only with people allowed to see it.
Common errors: 401 or 403 means the key is wrong, was revoked or belongs to another company. 404 on a detail tool means a wrong id.
The connector never makes, registers or deletes payments, and no tool moves money.

Step 3 — Add the connector in ChatGPT
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
ChatGPT adds MCP servers as plugins on its Plugins page, on the web and on paid plans. Developer mode is no longer needed. In a Business workspace only admins and owners can add one; in Enterprise and Edu an admin can grant the Create plugins with MCPs permission.
- Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click +, then Add custom MCP server.
- Enter a name, e.g. Name:
Moedelo. - Under Connection, enter the Server URL
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_IDand keep Authentication on OAuth. - Select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin. When ChatGPT asks, sign in to AnythingMCP and allow access.
