Start a free trial on cloud.anythingmcp.com, add the Odoo 14-18 (JSON-RPC) in one click, then point your AI client (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or Cursor) at the generated MCP endpoint. No Docker, no git clone, zero engineering experience required.
Summary
Odoo ERP 14 to 18 over the classic JSON-RPC endpoint: search, read, create and update any model, plus partners, sales orders, invoices and products. For Odoo Online, Odoo.sh and self-hosted Odoo older than 19 (works on 19 too). API key + user id.

Odoo 14-18 (JSON-RPC) + Cursor
Odoo ERP 14 to 18 over the classic JSON-RPC endpoint: search, read, create and update any model, plus partners, sales orders, invoices and products. For Odoo Online, Odoo.sh and self-hosted Odoo older than 19 (works on 19 too). API key + user id.
Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:
ODOO_URL, ODOO_DB, ODOO_UID, ODOO_API_KEY
Step 1 — Get credentials
Which Odoo connector? This one is for Odoo 14 to 18 (and works on 19 too). It talks to Odoo's classic JSON-RPC endpoint /jsonrpc. For Odoo 19 and newer, the "Odoo" connector (JSON-2 API) is the simpler choice: it needs no user id. Your version is shown at the bottom of Settings.
What you need (four values)
ODOO_URL: the address of your Odoo, scheme and host only, e.g.https://erp.example.comorhttps://mycompany.odoo.com. Not the address of a page inside Odoo: nothing after the host, no/web, no?db=or#action=.
…(continued in the in-app connector instructions)
Step 2 — Install the adapter
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
Step 3 — Add the connector in Cursor
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
Cursor reads MCP servers from ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Add this entry:
{
"mcpServers": {
"anythingmcp": {
"url": "https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID",
"headers": { "X-API-Key": "YOUR_MCP_API_KEY" }
}
}
}
- Get your MCP API key from AnythingMCP → MCP Servers → your server → API keys.
- Save the file and restart Cursor.
- Open Cursor → Settings → MCP to verify
Odoo 14-18 (JSON-RPC)is listed and "Connected". - Start chatting — all
Odoo 14-18 (JSON-RPC)tools are now invokable.
