Ozon Performance (Ads) + ChatGPT

Ozon Performance API for the seller ad account: pay-per-click, pay-per-order and banner campaigns, their products and bids, competitive bids and bid limits, daily and spend statistics and the detailed campaign reports. Stop campaigns and change bids. One service account client ID and secret.

Prerequisites

See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:

Step 1 — Get credentials

Setting up takes about 3 minutes. You need an Ozon seller account with its advertising account (Ozon Performance), where you create a service account and a key for it.

1. In the Ozon seller portal open Settings → API keys → Performance API (seller.ozon.ru/app/settings/api-keys?currentTab=performanceApi).
2. If there is no service account yet, create one with Create new account. Click the service account's name, then Add new key.
3. Copy the client ID into OZON_PERFORMANCE_CLIENT_ID: it ends in @advertising.performance.ozon.ru, so paste it whole. Copy the client secret, shown with the client ID when the key is added, into OZON_PERFORMANCE_CLIENT_SECRET. If the secret is lost, add a new key.
4. Install the connector and run ozon_performance_list_campaigns (no arguments) to check the connection: it lists your campaigns with the ids every other tool uses.

Separate from the Ozon Seller connector: this connector covers the advertising account only and has its own credentials, so the Seller API key is not used here. For orders, products, stock and prices use the Ozon Seller connector.

Cloud and self-hosted work the same way: you paste the same two values, and there is no redirect URL to set.

Tokens renew themselves: the connector exchanges the client ID and secret at POST /api/client/token (grant type client_credentials) for a bearer token that lasts 30 minutes, and gets a new one before it runs out or after a 401. A 401 at the token step means the client ID or secret is wrong or the key was deleted: copy both again, or add a new key to the service account. A 403 means the service account has no access to that method or campaign.

Campaign types: SKU is pay per click (Оплата за клик), SEARCH_PROMO is pay per order (Оплата за заказ), and there are BANNER and VIDEO_BANNER. The products of a click campaign and their bids come from ozon_performance_list_campaign_products; the products in pay-per-order promotion from ozon_performance_list_cpo_products.

Quick statistics: ozon_performance_get_daily_statistics, ozon_performance_get_expense_statistics and ozon_performance_get_cpc_campaign_statistics answer at once with JSON rows. Without dates they cover the last 7 days. Dates are days (2026-10-01), and Ozon groups them in Moscow time. ozon_performance_get_cpc_campaign_statistics does not count against the report limits.

Detailed reports are asynchronous: ozon_performance_request_campaign_report orders a per-product report for up to 10 campaigns over at most 62 days, grouped by day, week or month, and returns a UUID. The AI checks ozon_performance_get_report_status every few seconds until state is OK (or ERROR), then fetches the report with ozon_performance_download_report: CSV text (semicolon separated, Russian column names) for one campaign, a ZIP file with one CSV per campaign for several. Only one report runs at a time per account, and at most 2000 a day; ozon_performance_list_api_reports finds reports ordered earlier. ozon_performance_request_search_phrases_report works the same way for the search phrases of top promotion, a method Ozon marks as being tested.

Money and ids: campaign budgets are in millionths of a ruble (1000000 = 1 ruble); the bid limits from ozon_performance_get_bid_limits are in rubles; pay-per-order bids are a percent of the product price. Ids are numeric strings.

Changing bids: ozon_performance_update_campaign_bids changes the bids of products already in a click campaign, and Ozon replaces the campaign's stop words and phrase bids with what is sent. ozon_performance_add_campaign_products adds at most 500 products per campaign; in a campaign with an automatic strategy, only products of its autopilot category. A bid per click applies only with the average click cost strategy and is given in the same unit as the current bids the connector reads; without one, Ozon sets the competitive bid.

Rate limits: at most 100,000 requests a day per account, plus limits on campaign changes (for example 500 budget or strategy changes per campaign a day) and on reports. On a 429, wait and try again later.

What it reads: your campaigns with type, state, payment type, placement, strategy, dates and budgets; the SKUs or banners a campaign promotes; the products of a click campaign with their bid per click, target ad cost share or search position range; the bids other sellers place on the same SKUs, and the minimum and maximum bids per promotion tool, placement and category; the products in pay-per-order promotion with price, bid, visibility index and views; views, clicks, spend, orders and order value per campaign and day, spend split into the prepaid account and bonuses, period totals of click campaigns, and the detailed per-product and search phrase reports.

Switched off at install: ozon_performance_activate_campaign and ozon_performance_remove_campaign_products. The first starts a campaign, which then shows ads and spends its budget; the second removes products from a click campaign, and their bids are lost. Switch on only the ones you need on the connector page; the AI asks you to confirm every change first. ozon_performance_deactivate_campaign, ozon_performance_add_campaign_products and ozon_performance_update_campaign_bids are switched on: they stop a campaign, add products to a click campaign and change its bids, and so what it spends, always after the AI has shown you exactly what will change.

Not covered: creating and copying campaigns, budgets and strategies, pay-per-order bid changes, banner and video statistics, order attribution reports and external traffic analytics.

Step 3 — Add the connector in ChatGPT

Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide shows YOUR_SERVER_ID.

ChatGPT adds MCP servers as plugins on its Plugins page, on the web and on paid plans. Developer mode is no longer needed. In a Business workspace only admins and owners can add one; in Enterprise and Edu an admin can grant the Create plugins with MCPs permission.

1. Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click Add, then Add custom MCP server.
2. Enter a name, e.g. Name: Ozon Performance (Ads).
3. Under Connection, enter the Server URL https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID and keep Authentication on OAuth.
4. Select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin. When ChatGPT asks, sign in to AnythingMCP and allow access.
5. Install the new plugin from your personal plugins, then type @ in a chat and pick it.
