PrestaShop + ChatGPT
Your own PrestaShop shop: products and combinations, stock, orders with their status history, customers, addresses, carriers and categories, through the shop's Webservice API. Change an order's status, a product's price or a stock quantity.
Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:
PRESTASHOP_URL, PRESTASHOP_WEBSERVICE_KEY
Step 1 — Get credentials
- In the PrestaShop back office, open Advanced Parameters → Webservice, set Enable PrestaShop's webservice to Yes and save.
- On the same page, click Add new webservice key, then Generate for a 32-character key. Add a description and set Status to enabled.
- Under Permissions, tick GET on
products,combinations,stock_availables,orders,order_states,order_histories,customers,addresses,carriersandcategories. For the write tools, also tick POST onorder_histories(order status) and PATCH onproductsandstock_availables(price and stock). A read-only key needs only the GET column. In multistore mode, also pick the shops the key may reach. - Paste the shop's root address into
PRESTASHOP_URL(e.g.https://shop.example.com, orhttps://example.com/shopwhen the shop lives in a folder; no/api, no trailing slash) and the key intoPRESTASHOP_WEBSERVICE_KEY. - Start with
prestashop_list_order_statesfor the shop's status ids, thenprestashop_list_ordersandprestashop_get_order. Lists return only ids unless you ask fordisplay=fullor a field list such as[id,name,price].
Menu names are given in English; a translated back office shows them in its own language. Reading works on PrestaShop 1.7 and 8; the price and stock update tools need PrestaShop 8.0 or later, because they use PATCH. Product prices are base prices without tax, in the shop's default currency. If every call answers 401 although the key is right, the server drops the Authorization header: enable CGI mode for PHP on the Webservice page. prestashop_change_order_state runs what the status triggers (invoice, stock movements and, with send_email 1, the e-mail to the customer), so confirm it first.
Step 2 — Install the adapter

Step 3 — Add the connector in ChatGPT
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
ChatGPT connects to MCP servers as custom apps in developer mode, available on paid plans (not on Free). On Business and Enterprise workspaces an admin may have to allow it first.
- In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
- Go to chatgpt.com/plugins and click +.
- Enter a name and a short description, e.g. Name:
PrestaShop. - Under Connection, enter the MCP server URL
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_IDand create the connection. - When ChatGPT asks, sign in to AnythingMCP (OAuth) and allow access.
