Step 1 — Get credentials

Getting a key

Sign in to Propstack as an administrator and open Verwaltung → API-Schlüssel (crm.propstack.de/app/admin/api_keys).
Create an API V1 key, give it the read permissions the agent needs, and put it in PROPSTACK_API_KEY. The key carries the permissions set there — treat it as a password, because whoever holds it can read the whole customer base.

The key travels in an X-API-KEY header. No Bearer. (Propstack also accepts an api_key query parameter; this adapter does not use it, so the key stays out of URLs and logs.)

Step 2 — Install the adapter

Step 3 — Add the connector in Gemini

Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide shows YOUR_SERVER_ID.

Gemini CLI reads MCP servers from ~/.gemini/settings.json (or %APPDATA%\gemini\settings.json on Windows). Add:

Get your MCP API key from AnythingMCP → MCP Servers → your server → API keys.
Save the file and restart gemini.
Run /mcp inside the Gemini CLI — Propstack should be listed as available.
Vertex AI Studio: pass https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID to the tools array of your request with the same X-API-Key header.

`propstack_list_brokers`	List the brokers (users) in the account with their name, e-mail and the office they belong to, to resolve who owns a listing or a contact
