Quipu + Meta Muse
Quipu — Spanish invoicing and bookkeeping for autónomos and small companies: issued and received invoices, contacts, items, expenses and bank accounts. REST API, OAuth 2.0 client credentials.
Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:
QUIPU_CLIENT_ID, QUIPU_CLIENT_SECRET
Step 1 — Get credentials
Getting credentials
- In Quipu, create the API credentials for your account (see the API reference at quipuapp.github.io/api-v1-docs).
- You receive a client id and client secret. Quipu's API uses the client-credentials grant, so there is no browser consent step for your own account's data. The token request is sent with HTTP Basic credentials and the fixed scope
ecommerce, which Quipu requires on every token request (without it:400 invalid_scope); the adapter sends both. Tokens last 2 hours. - Set
QUIPU_CLIENT_IDandQUIPU_CLIENT_SECRET. AnythingMCP fetches and refreshes the access token on its own.
…(continued in the in-app connector instructions)
Step 2 — Install the adapter
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
Step 3 — Add the connector in Muse
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
Muse adds remote MCP servers as custom connectors and signs in to them with OAuth.
- In Muse, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the MCP server URL
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID. - Muse opens the AnythingMCP sign-in page: sign in and approve access.
- In a chat, ask Muse for something that needs the
Quiputools.
You can also set it up from a chat, on the web, in the iOS and Android apps or in WhatsApp. Send Muse this message:
Create a Custom Connector for a new remote MCP server, then connect to it:
Name: AnythingMCP
Transport: remote streamable HTTP
URL: https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID
Auth: OAuth
Self-hosting? Use your instance's public HTTPS address instead of https://cloud.anythingmcp.com. Muse connects from Meta's cloud, so localhost does not work.
Available tools
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
quipu_list_contacts | List contacts — customers and suppliers — with their name, NIF, address and the country they invoice from |
quipu_get_contact | Read one contact by id, with their full tax data, address and the default payment terms recorded against them |
quipu_list_invoices | List issued invoices with their number, date, contact, IVA and IRPF amounts, total and payment state — the revenue side |
quipu_get_invoice | Read one issued invoice in full: every line with its quantity, price, IVA rate and IRPF retention, plus the totals and the payments applied |
quipu_list_expenses | List received expenses and supplier invoices with their date, supplier, category, IVA and total — the cost side of the ledger |
quipu_list_book_entries | List the items and services in the catalogue with their code, description, unit price and default IVA rate |
quipu_list_accounting_categories | List the accounting categories expenses are filed under, so a cost breakdown uses the categories the bookkeeper actually uses |
FAQ
Where is Muse available? Meta currently offers Muse in the US and Canada, on the web, in the iOS and Android apps and in WhatsApp.
Does Meta review this connector? No. Meta doesn't review custom connectors. Muse sees only the tools you switched on for this MCP server in AnythingMCP, and you can disconnect it anytime under Settings → Connectors.
