Summary
No ready-made AnythingMCP connector for Salesforce yet. How to use Salesforce in Muse today: Salesforce's own MCP offering, or its REST API imported into AnythingMCP yourself.
There is no ready-made AnythingMCP connector for Salesforce yet. Salesforce is not in the AnythingMCP connector catalog, on Cloud or self-hosted. This guide covers what works today: Salesforce's own MCP offering, or importing the Salesforce REST API into AnythingMCP yourself and connecting it to Muse.
Salesforce + Meta Muse
Salesforce's own MCP server
Salesforce offers Salesforce Hosted MCP Servers, generally available since April 2026 for orgs on Enterprise Edition and above. They run inside Salesforce, sign in with OAuth and respect your org's permissions; see Salesforce's announcement for setup.
Step 1 — Get Salesforce credentials
In Salesforce Setup, create an OAuth app (an External Client App, or use an existing Connected App) with OAuth enabled, the scopes api and refresh_token, and as callback URL the one AnythingMCP shows when you choose OAuth 2.0 (on Cloud: https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/api/mcp-oauth/callback). Copy its consumer key and secret.
Step 2 — Import the Salesforce API into AnythingMCP
Sign in to AnythingMCP Cloud (7-day free trial) or run your own instance with Docker:
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
- Go to Connectors → Add Connector and choose REST API.
- Enter
https://your-domain.my.salesforce.com/services/data/v66.0as the Base URL. - Under Authentication, choose OAuth 2.0 and enter the consumer key and secret, the authorization URL
https://login.salesforce.com/services/oauth2/authorize, the token URLhttps://login.salesforce.com/services/oauth2/tokenand the scopesapi refresh_token. After saving, click Authorize with Provider on the connector page and sign in to Salesforce. - Create the connector, then import the endpoints you need on its page as cURL Command (Salesforce's API reference has an example for each), or add tools by hand.
- Under MCP Servers, open your server and switch the new connector on.
Replace your-domain with your My Domain and v66.0 with an API version your org supports. Salesforce publishes no single OpenAPI file for its REST API, because every org has its own objects and fields, so add the endpoints you need by cURL. The SOQL query endpoint (/query?q=…) on its own covers most read questions.
What you can expose once it's imported
The tools depend on the endpoints you import. For example:
- Run SOQL queries across accounts, contacts, opportunities and cases
- Read a record by its ID
- Create a lead or a case
- Update an opportunity's stage, amount or close date
Step 3 — Add the connector in Muse
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
Muse adds remote MCP servers as custom connectors and signs in to them with OAuth.
- In Muse, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the MCP server URL
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID. - Muse opens the AnythingMCP sign-in page: sign in and approve access.
- In a chat, ask Muse for something that needs the Salesforce tools you imported.
You can also set it up from a chat, on the web, in the iOS and Android apps or in WhatsApp. Send Muse this message:
Create a Custom Connector for a new remote MCP server, then connect to it:
Name: AnythingMCP
Transport: remote streamable HTTP
URL: https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID
Auth: OAuth
Self-hosting? Use your instance's public HTTPS address instead of https://cloud.anythingmcp.com. Muse connects from Meta's cloud, so localhost does not work.
FAQ
Is there a ready-made Salesforce connector in AnythingMCP? Not yet. Salesforce is not in the connector catalog, so there is nothing to install in one click: import its API as shown above, or use Salesforce's own MCP offering if it covers what you need.
Where is Muse available? Meta currently offers Muse in the US and Canada, on the web, in the iOS and Android apps and in WhatsApp.
Does Meta review this connector? No. Meta doesn't review custom connectors. Muse sees only the tools you switched on for this MCP server in AnythingMCP, and you can disconnect it anytime under Settings → Connectors.
