SellAuth + Gemini
SellAuth digital goods storefront, read-only: revenue and profit analytics, top products and customers, invoices (orders), products and variants, customers, feedback, support tickets and coupons. Delivered product keys are never returned.
Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:
SELLAUTH_API_KEY, SELLAUTH_SHOP_ID
Step 1 — Get credentials
Setting up takes about 2 minutes. You need a SellAuth shop and access to its dashboard to create an API key.
- In the SellAuth dashboard open Account, then Developers (dash.sellauth.com/api), and create an API key.
- Paste only the key into
SELLAUTH_API_KEY, without Bearer, spaces or quotes. - Put the numeric id of your shop into
SELLAUTH_SHOP_ID, for example123456. If you are not sure of it,sellauth_list_shopslists every shop the key can reach, with its id. - Install the connector and run
sellauth_list_shops: it shows the shops of the key with name, subdomain, currency and totals, which confirms that the key works.
One connector, one shop: every tool except sellauth_list_shops reads the shop in SELLAUTH_SHOP_ID. If your key reaches several shops, install the connector once per shop.
What it reads: the shop's headline figures (revenue, orders, customers, cost of goods, profit and cost coverage) with the change against the previous period; the revenue, orders and profit series behind the dashboard chart; the 10 best-selling products and variants and the 10 customers who spent the most; invoices (orders) with status, price, amount paid, gateway, payment method, customer e-mail, country and items, and one invoice in full with fees, discounts, taxes, payments, coupon and dispute status; products and variants with price, cost, stock, units sold and visibility; customers with e-mail, Discord name, store balance, completed orders and total spent; feedback with rating, message, reply and dispute; support tickets with subject, status, related invoice and last message; and coupons with uses, validity, revenue attributed and amount saved.
Finding orders: invoices can be filtered by status (completed for paid orders, or pending, expired, cancelled, refunded and partial), by customer e-mail and by creation date range, and sorted by id, price, amount paid or date. Lists come in pages; the AI asks for the next page until it has them all. Money is in USD unless the field says otherwise.
Kept out of responses: the serial keys, files and links delivered to buyers, payment proofs, IP addresses and the shop's own Discord and webhook secrets never reach the AI. Invoices do carry customer e-mails and countries.
Read-only: every tool only reads. Nothing changes in your shop, so there is nothing to confirm and no tool is switched off at install.
Limits: lists return at most 100 rows per page. When SellAuth answers 429 (too many calls), the AI waits a minute before trying again.
Common errors: 401 means a wrong or deleted API key: create a new one under Developers and paste it again. 403 means the key works, but not for that shop: check SELLAUTH_SHOP_ID with sellauth_list_shops. 404 means there is no invoice or product with that id in this shop, or no shop with that id.
The connector does not create or edit products, coupons or invoices, issue refunds, reply to tickets or feedback, or deliver or show product keys.
Step 2 — Install the adapter
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
Step 3 — Add the connector in Gemini
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
Gemini CLI reads MCP servers from ~/.gemini/settings.json (on Windows %USERPROFILE%\.gemini\settings.json). Add:
{
"mcpServers": {
"anythingmcp": {
"httpUrl": "https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID",
"headers": { "X-API-Key": "YOUR_MCP_API_KEY" }
}
}
}
- Create an MCP API key in AnythingMCP under MCP Servers → your server → API keys, and paste it in place of
YOUR_MCP_API_KEY. - Save the file and restart
gemini. - Run
/mcpinside Gemini CLI (orgemini mcp listin your shell):anythingmcpshould show as connected. - Start prompting: Gemini CLI can now call the
SellAuthtools.

FAQ
Where does Gemini CLI look for MCP servers? In ~/.gemini/settings.json for your user, or in .gemini/settings.json inside a project. gemini mcp list shows each server and whether it connects.
