TikTok Shop Seller + Gemini

Let your AI work with your TikTok shop: orders with buyer notes and addresses, products, stock, warehouses, shipping labels and tracking, returns and settlements, with shipping, product, stock and price changes available on request.

Prerequisites

See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:

Step 1 — Get credentials

Setting up takes about 15 minutes once the app exists. You need an app of your own in the TikTok Shop Partner Center (App key, App secret and Service ID) and the shop owner's Seller Center account.

Seller developer access comes first: TikTok only lets a seller register as a seller developer, and create an app for their own shop, when the shop has an assigned account manager. Without one, Partner Center answers "This account is not eligible for seller developer registration". In that case ask TikTok Shop for an account manager eligibility review in the Seller Center Help Center, or use the app of a developer who has seller developer access.

1. Sign in at partner.tiktokshop.com (US shops: partner.us.tiktokshop.com) with the shop owner account, open App & Service and create a custom app for your shop. Under Manage API, enable the scopes the tools need: Shop authorized information, Order information, Product basic and Product write, Fulfillment basic, Logistics basic, Return and refund basic, and Finance information.
2. Set the app's Redirect URL to your AnythingMCP address followed by /api/tiktok-shop/callback: https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/api/tiktok-shop/callback on AnythingMCP Cloud, <SERVER_URL>/api/tiktok-shop/callback (your own SERVER_URL) when self-hosted.
3. Copy the app's App key into TIKTOK_SHOP_APP_KEY, its App secret into TIKTOK_SHOP_APP_SECRET and its Service ID (App & Service → your app → Basic Information) into TIKTOK_SHOP_SERVICE_ID. For a US shop set TIKTOK_SHOP_MARKET to US; leave it empty for the UK, the EU and every other market.
4. Install the connector, open it and click Authorize with Provider. TikTok Shop asks you to pick the region, sign in to Seller Center and approve the app; you come back to AnythingMCP and the connector is ready. Run tiktok_shop_get_authorized_shops to check the connection.

Cloud and self-hosted work the same way: the connector always uses your own app. Only the redirect URL differs.

Several shops: if one authorization covers several shops (cross-border sellers), set TIKTOK_SHOP_SHOP_ID to the shop id, shop code or exact shop name before you authorize. Without it the connector uses the first shop.

Tokens renew themselves: the access token lasts 7 days and is renewed automatically; the refresh token lasts as long as the seller's authorization and is stored encrypted. When the authorization expires or is cancelled in Seller Center, the connector shows that it needs a new authorization, its owner gets one email, and a click on Authorize with Provider fixes it.

Your App secret stays with AnythingMCP: every call is signed with it (HMAC-SHA256) and the secret itself is never sent. TikTok refuses a timestamp that is more than 5 minutes old, so a self-hosted server with a wrong clock gets a timestamp error.

What it reads: orders with line items, buyer message and seller note, recipient name and address, payment totals, carrier, tracking number and packages; the price breakdown of an order; products with category, brand, images, attributes and every SKU with its price and stock per warehouse; the categories the shop may list in, their attributes and listing rules, and brands; warehouses, delivery options and carriers; packages, pickup and drop-off options, shipping labels and packing slips to print, and tracking events; return, refund and cancellation requests; settlement statements and what each order settled after fees and commission.

Switched off at install: tiktok_shop_ship_package, tiktok_shop_mark_package_shipped, tiktok_shop_update_order_shipping_info, tiktok_shop_create_product, tiktok_shop_edit_product, tiktok_shop_partial_edit_product, tiktok_shop_update_inventory, tiktok_shop_update_price, tiktok_shop_activate_products and tiktok_shop_deactivate_products. They arrange shipments, send tracking numbers to buyers, create and edit products, overwrite stock, set prices and put products on or off sale: they change your live shop or what buyers see. Switch on only the ones you need on the connector page; the AI asks you to confirm every change first. tiktok_shop_upload_product_image is switched on: it only stores an image for a later product and changes no listing.

Nothing moves money: no tool refunds, cancels orders or answers buyers. That stays in Seller Center.

Ids, times and paging: ids are long numbers, which the AI passes as strings; times are Unix seconds; lists page with page_token.

Common errors: 106001 means the signature is wrong: the App key and the App secret do not belong to the same app. 105005 means the app or the authorization lacks the scope for that API: enable it under Manage API and authorize again. 36009033 means the app has an IP allow list that does not include AnythingMCP's address. 36009002 or a 429 is the rate limit: wait a minute and try again.

Step 2 — Install the adapter

Step 3 — Add the connector in Gemini

Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide shows YOUR_SERVER_ID.

Gemini CLI reads MCP servers from ~/.gemini/settings.json (on Windows %USERPROFILE%\.gemini\settings.json). Add:

1. Create an MCP API key in AnythingMCP under MCP Servers → your server → API keys, and paste it in place of YOUR_MCP_API_KEY.
2. Save the file and restart gemini.
3. Run /mcp inside Gemini CLI (or gemini mcp list in your shell): anythingmcp should show as connected.
4. Start prompting: Gemini CLI can now call the TikTok Shop Seller tools.
