UPTIMEROBOT_API_KEY

Step 1 — Get credentials

This connector wraps the UptimeRobot API v2 (api.uptimerobot.com/v2).

Setup:

1. Sign in to https://uptimerobot.com → My Settings → API Settings.
2. Generate the Main API Key (full access to your monitors) OR a per-monitor read-only key. Most users want the Main key.
3. Set UPTIMEROBOT_API_KEY.

Authentication: every request POSTs to /v2/* with api_key=... injected as a query parameter on the URL. The API accepts the key either in the URL or in the body — this adapter uses the URL so each tool's body remains clean form-encoded params. We also always send format=json so responses are JSON instead of XML.

Step 2 — Install the adapter

Step 3 — Add the connector in Gemini

Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide shows YOUR_SERVER_ID.

Gemini CLI reads MCP servers from ~/.gemini/settings.json (or %APPDATA%\gemini\settings.json on Windows). Add:

1. Get your MCP API key from AnythingMCP → MCP Servers → your server → API keys.
2. Save the file and restart gemini.
3. Run /mcp inside the Gemini CLI — UptimeRobot should be listed as available.
4. Vertex AI Studio: pass https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID to the tools array of your request with the same X-API-Key header.
