Sellercloud
Sellercloud multichannel e-commerce operations: sales orders with notes and packages, saved order views, product catalog and prices, inventory per warehouse, customers, companies, purchase orders, vendors and their products, returns (RMAs), warehouses, transfers, picklists and queued jobs. Read-only, signs in with a Sellercloud employee login.
Setup
Setting up takes a few minutes. You need your Sellercloud team name and the login of a Sellercloud employee.
- Open
https://api.sellercloud.com/api/server-by-team/?team=YOURTEAMin a browser, with YOURTEAM replaced by the team name you sign in to Sellercloud with. - Copy the RestApiEndpoint value into
SELLERCLOUD_API_URL. It looks likehttps://xx.api.sellercloud.com/rest(some servers end in.sellercloud.us/rest). Keep the /rest at the end and leave out any trailing slash. - Pick the employee the connector signs in as. Sellercloud recommends a separate employee for each integration, so use a dedicated one and give it the Delta permissions for the data the AI should read: orders, products, inventory, purchasing, customers.
- Put that employee's username (usually the email address) into
SELLERCLOUD_USERNAMEand the password intoSELLERCLOUD_PASSWORD. - Install the connector and run
sellercloud_list_warehouses: if the address and login are right, it lists your warehouses.sellercloud_list_companiesthen shows your companies (business units or stores), whose ids filter most other tools.
Signs in by itself: the connector signs in with the username and password, gets a token that lasts 30 to 60 minutes and signs in again before it expires or after a 401. If the employee's password changes, paste the new one. The AI sees exactly what that employee may see, which is why a dedicated employee with only the permissions it needs is the safer choice.
What it reads: sales orders with items, totals, payments, profit and loss, notes, packages and tracking; your saved order views; the product catalog with the site price and the price per sales channel; inventory with physical, reserved and per-warehouse stock and units sold; customers and companies; purchase orders with their items, the vendors and the products each vendor supplies; returns (RMAs) with return reasons, resolutions and refunds; warehouses, warehouse transfers, picklists and queued jobs such as imports and exports, with their progress.
Saved views work as in Sellercloud: sellercloud_list_order_views lists the views saved on the Manage Orders page, and sellercloud_list_orders_by_view returns exactly the orders a view shows, so the AI does not have to rebuild your filters.
Codes, pages and currency: Sellercloud uses number codes for statuses and channels, for example order status 2 InProcess, 3 Completed, 100 ProblemOrder, 200 OnHold and -1 Cancelled; the AI translates them for you. Lists return 10 rows by default and up to 50 per page, cut to the fields that matter; sellercloud_get_order and the other single-record tools return every field. Amounts of international orders are converted to USD when the order is created.
Read-only, nothing to confirm: no tool creates, changes or deletes anything, so none is switched off at install and the AI never has to ask before a change.
Limits: Sellercloud allows 10,800 requests an hour per user and IP address. Over the limit it answers "Too many requests." with a RateLimitResetTime, and the AI waits until then.
Common errors: 400 or 401 at sign-in means the username or password is wrong, or the address is not the RestApiEndpoint of your own server. 403 means the employee lacks the Delta permission for that data. 404 means there is no Sellercloud REST API at that address: copy the RestApiEndpoint again, it ends in /rest.
The connector does not create or update orders, products, inventory, purchase orders or returns.
