Prerequisiti

Le istruzioni di setup complete sono incluse nel connettore stesso (visibili nello store quando lo selezioni). Le variabili d'ambiente richieste sono:

MEDIUM_INTEGRATION_TOKEN

Step 1 — Ottieni le credenziali

com/Medium/medium-api-docs).

Important — limited write API: Medium's public API is write-mostly for the user that owns the integration token. There's no public read API for posts (Medium walked back most read endpoints in 2019). Use RSS or scraping for reads.

Setup:

  1. Sign in to https://medium.com → top-right avatar → Settings → Security and apps → Integration tokens → New integration token.
  2. Name it ('AnythingMCP'). Copy the token.
  3. Set MEDIUM_INTEGRATION_TOKEN.

Authentication: Authorization: Bearer ${MEDIUM_INTEGRATION_TOKEN}.

…(continued in the in-app connector instructions)

Step 2 — Installa l'adapter

git clone https://github.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp.git
cd anythingmcp && docker compose up -d

Step 3 — Aggiungi il connettore in Cursor

Cursor legge i server MCP da ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Aggiungi questa voce:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "anythingmcp": {
      "url": "https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_MCP_API_KEY" }
    }
  }
}
  1. Ottieni la tua MCP API key da AnythingMCP → Profilo → MCP API Keys → Nuova Key.
  2. Salva il file e riavvia Cursor.
  3. Apri Cursor → Impostazioni → MCP per verificare che Medium sia presente e "Connected".
  4. Inizia a chattare — tutti gli strumenti di Medium sono ora invocabili.
