Interakt

This connector calls the Interakt public API (https://api.interakt.ai) with your account's API key: WhatsApp templates, customers (contacts) and their traits and tags, events, chat assignment, and sending template and text messages.

Setup (about 2 minutes)

1. Interakt needs the Growth plan or higher for API access.
2. In Interakt open Settings, Developer Setting and copy the Secret Key into INTERAKT_API_KEY. Paste it exactly as shown, without the word Basic: it is already encoded and is sent as Authorization: Basic ..., only to api.interakt.ai.

Numbers: tools take phone_number without the country code plus country_code (default +91), e.g. 9876543210 and +91; where a tool asks for full_phone_number it is the country code and number together without +, e.g. 919876543210.

Reading: interakt_list_templates shows each template's code name, approval_status and the body with its {{1}}, {{2}} placeholders. interakt_get_customer_by_phone and interakt_get_customer read one customer; interakt_list_customers pages through customers created or updated in a window (100 at most per page). The API has no message history or delivery status: those reach Interakt webhooks only.

Sending a template (interakt_send_template): pick an APPROVED template, count its body placeholders and pass exactly that many body_values, in order; a missing value is refused with "Missing variable values for template's body, expected number of values are N". Templates with a media header need header_values with a public file URL. A successful answer (result: true and an id) means Interakt accepted the message, not that it was delivered.

Writes: confirm first. interakt_upsert_customer, interakt_track_event and interakt_assign_chat change data or can trigger automations: show the change and wait for a yes. traits must be a JSON object, not a string. interakt_send_template and interakt_send_text are installed switched off: an admin turns them on deliberately, and even then confirm every send. Free text only works within 24 hours of the customer's last message.

Limits: 300 requests a minute on Growth, 600 on Advanced; a 429 means wait. Requests are limited to 32 KB.

Errors come as {"result": false, "message": ...}: 401 the key is wrong or the plan has no API access, 400 a missing or invalid field (the message says which), 429 rate limit.

Out of scope: creating templates, campaigns, media uploads, RCS and SMS fallback, webhooks.
