ABOSS

Getting the API key: an agency's API key is created by its API Key Manager, a user with Administrate permission on Office whom ABOSS support designates on request ([email protected], with your agency id and name). That user opens Office → API Key → Settings, confirms the password, ticks the scopes the integration needs and copies the key into ABOSS_API_KEY. It is sent as Authorization: Bearer <key>.

Scopes decide what works. The key carries one scope per module: events (always included), deals, projects, locations, travels, contacts, invoices, contracts and advancings. A tool whose module is not ticked answers 401 or 403; tick the scope in the key settings rather than creating a new key.

Read-only API: the ABOSS Agency API v1 only reads. Nothing in this connector changes data in ABOSS.

Rate limit: 60 requests per minute per key (X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining); above it ABOSS answers 429.

Pagination: list tools return {pagination, data}. pagination.count is the total, pagination.next the next page number (null on the last page). limit is 25 by default, 200 at most.

Narrow every list. ABOSS builds full objects for each row; unfiltered deals, travel, contracts and advancing lists of a busy agency take tens of seconds and can time out. Pass a date range, updated_at_from, event_id or ids, and keep limit small.

Dates are ISO 8601 without a time zone, e.g. 2026-10-01T00:00:00. Range filters are inclusive: start_from/start_to on events and travel, updated_at_from/updated_at_to on every list, date_from/date_to and due_date_to on invoices.

Which tool to start with: a_boss_list_projects gives the artists or acts and their ids; a_boss_list_events with project_ids and a start_from/start_to range gives a tour schedule. Each event links its location, contacts, deal, advancing, invoices and contracts by id; read them with the matching get tool.

Shared events: another agency or an artist can share events with your agency. They are hidden unless include_shared=true is set on the events tools and a_boss_get_deal; without it a shared event or deal answers 404. Shared items carry access: "shared" and the sharing party's private fields are null. a_boss_list_deals never lists shared deals.
