Setting up Claap

Claap (REST API v1)
This connector reads a Claap workspace through the REST API at https://api.claap.io: meeting recordings and their transcripts, folders, recording views and AI fields, and the revenue data Claap builds from meetings and the CRM (deals, companies, contacts), plus users and teams. It changes nothing.
Setup. A workspace admin creates an API key in Claap under Settings, API & Webhooks; it starts with cla_. The key is sent in the X-Claap-Key header. It acts for the whole workspace, not as one user.
What the key can see. The API does not impersonate users. A recording is returned only if it, or its folder, is accessible to workspace members and visible in global search. Private recordings are visible only to a key created with Full access. If a recording a user can open in Claap is missing here, this is the reason.
Which tool first. claap_get_workspace checks the key. For meetings: claap_list_recordings (filter by created_after, recorder_email, sources or a view_id), then claap_get_recording and claap_get_recording_transcript (format text is the easiest to read and summarise). For sales: claap_list_deals or claap_list_companies, then the get tools; deal stages and owners come from the connected CRM (HubSpot only) and answer 400 when no HubSpot CRM is connected.
Pagination. List answers are wrapped in result and carry pagination.nextCursor and totalCount; pass cursor = nextCursor until it is missing. limit goes up to 100 (default 20).
Dates. Send ISO 8601 (2026-09-01, 2026-09-01T13:00:00Z); answers are UTC.
Limits. 3 calls per second per endpoint (short bursts allowed) and 3000 calls per day for the whole workspace, shared by all keys. A 429 means slow down; X-RateLimit-Daily-Remaining shows the day's budget, so prefer filtered lists over fetching every recording.
Errors. 401: missing or wrong key. 404 not_found: wrong id, or the recording is not visible to the API (see above). 400 validation_error: the path field names the bad parameter.
