Step-by-step setup for the most popular AI clients.
Setting up Hostinger
From the connector definition itself: where to find the credentials, what they need to be allowed to do, and which API this adapter talks to.
Hostinger
This connector works with a Hostinger account through the Hostinger public API (https://developers.hostinger.com): VPS (machines, power, metrics, actions, backups, snapshots, SSH keys, Docker projects, firewalls), domains (portfolio, availability, nameservers, forwarding, WHOIS profiles), DNS zones and their snapshots, billing (subscriptions, payment methods and the price catalog, read-only) and web hosting (orders, websites, WordPress installations, databases, cron jobs, cache).
Setup (2 minutes)
- Sign in to hPanel and open Account, then API (https://hpanel.hostinger.com/profile/api), and create a new token. Pick an expiry; the token has the same rights as your hPanel user.
- Paste it into
HOSTINGER_API_TOKEN. It is sent asAuthorization: Bearer <token>. - Run
hostinger_list_subscriptionsto check the token.
Nothing here buys anything: ordering VPS plans or domains, payment method changes and subscription renewals stay in hPanel.
VPS
- Find a machine:
hostinger_list_virtual_machines, thenhostinger_get_virtual_machinewith its numeric id.hostinger_get_vm_metricsgives CPU, memory, disk, traffic and uptime for a period (both dates required). - Power:
hostinger_start_vm,hostinger_stop_vm,hostinger_restart_vm;hostinger_set_vm_hostnamerenames it. Each write answers with an action: follow it withhostinger_get_vm_actionorhostinger_list_vm_actions(states created, sent, delayed, success, error). Whileactions_lockis locked, a new action is refused. - Recovery:
hostinger_list_vm_backupsandhostinger_restore_vm_backup;hostinger_get_vm_snapshot,hostinger_create_vm_snapshot(replaces the existing snapshot) andhostinger_restore_vm_snapshot. - Access and setup facts:

hostinger_list_docker_projects,hostinger_get_docker_project_containers,hostinger_get_docker_project_logs,hostinger_restart_docker_project. - Firewalls:
hostinger_list_firewalls,hostinger_get_firewall,hostinger_create_firewall,hostinger_create_firewall_rule,hostinger_update_firewall_rule,hostinger_delete_firewall_rule, thenhostinger_sync_firewallso the machines get the new rules.hostinger_activate_firewallandhostinger_deactivate_firewallattach or detach a firewall from a VPS. A firewall drops everything no rule accepts: make sure SSH (22) stays allowed before activating or syncing.
Domains and DNS
hostinger_list_domains,hostinger_get_domain,hostinger_get_domain_renewal,hostinger_get_domain_forwarding,hostinger_list_whois_profiles;hostinger_check_domain_availabilitybefore suggesting a name;hostinger_update_domain_nameserversto move DNS elsewhere.- DNS (domains on Hostinger nameservers):
hostinger_get_dns_recordsfirst. Test changes withhostinger_validate_dns_records, apply them withhostinger_update_dns_records, remove whole record sets withhostinger_delete_dns_records. Every change leaves a snapshot:hostinger_list_dns_snapshots,hostinger_get_dns_snapshotandhostinger_restore_dns_snapshotundo it. Inzone, nameis relative to the domain (@for the domain itself, www), CNAME and NS targets end with a dot, MX content is<priority> <host>.
Billing (read-only): hostinger_list_subscriptions, hostinger_list_payment_methods, hostinger_get_catalog (filter by category and name; the full catalog is long).
Web hosting: hostinger_list_hosting_orders and hostinger_list_websites give the order ids and the hosting account user names (u123456789) that hostinger_list_databases and hostinger_list_cron_jobs need; hostinger_list_wordpress_installations lists WordPress sites; hostinger_clear_website_cache clears a site's cache.
Confirm before every write: power changes, restores, snapshots, firewall changes, nameserver and DNS changes can take sites, email or SSH access offline. Name the machine or domain and the effect, show the records or rules, and wait for the user's yes. Backup and snapshot restores overwrite all data on the VPS and cannot be undone.
Reading the answers: VPS, action, backup, firewall and rule ids are integers. Times are ISO 8601 in UTC; metrics are keyed by Unix timestamps. Prices are in cents (1799 = 17.99) of currency_code. Memory, disk and bandwidth of a VPS are in MB. Domain contacts and WHOIS profiles hold personal data: show only what the task needs.
Paging: lists with page return meta with current_page, per_page and total; ask for the next page while current_page * per_page < total. VPS, domain, DNS and billing lists without page return everything at once.
Limits and errors: about 90 requests a minute per token; on 429 wait for Retry-After seconds (repeated overruns can block the IP for a while). 401 means a wrong, revoked or expired token, 404 an id or domain that is not in this account, 422 invalid input (the answer names the field), 409 or a locked action means the VPS is still busy with another action. Error answers carry a correlation_id for Hostinger support.
