Setting up JTL Fulfillment Network
From the connector definition itself: where to find the credentials, what they need to be allowed to do, and which API this adapter talks to.
Reads the JTL-FFN Merchant API (ffn2.api.jtl-software.com) as the merchant who authorized it. The account needs the Merchant role in the FFN portal.
Getting credentials
- Sign in once at https://fulfillment.jtl-software.com with your JTL account; until then the API answers 404 for your user.
- Open https://kundencenter.jtl-software.de/oauth (it is not in the Kundencenter menu), create an OAuth client with the scopes
ffn.merchant.readandffn.merchant.write, and set its redirect URI tohttps://cloud.anythingmcp.com/api/mcp-oauth/callbackon AnythingMCP Cloud, or<your AnythingMCP URL>/api/mcp-oauth/callbackwhen self-hosted. - Paste the client ID and secret into
JTL_FFN_CLIENT_IDandJTL_FFN_CLIENT_SECRET, install, then click Authorize with Provider on the connector page. Access tokens last 30 minutes; JTL issues a new refresh token on every renewal and AnythingMCP stores it.
Workflow: jtl_ffn_get_current_user confirms the account. jtl_ffn_list_warehouses and jtl_ffn_list_shipping_methods give the ids an outbound needs. Find products with jtl_ffn_list_products, then read stock with jtl_ffn_get_product_stock. For an order, jtl_ffn_get_outbound shows its status and jtl_ffn_list_outbound_shipping_notifications the parcels with tracking.
Formats and gotchas: a jfsku is JTL's 11-character product id (e.g. MERC01PRDCT), not your own SKU (merchantSku). Outbound and inbound tools accept either the FFN id or your own order number. filter takes an OData-style expression on the fields named in each tool, e.g. status eq 'Shipped'. Dates are ISO 8601. jtl_ffn_create_outbound and jtl_ffn_cancel_outbound install switched off: enable them deliberately, and always confirm the details with the user before a call.
Pagination and rate limits: list tools take limit (default 50) and offset; the answer has count, _page and nextPageLink while more pages exist. Raise offset by limit until nextPageLink is missing. JTL publishes no rate limit; avoid tight polling loops and use the change feed for sync.
Cloud reachability: ffn2.api.jtl-software.com and oauth2.api.jtl-software.com are public HTTPS endpoints, reachable from AnythingMCP Cloud and self-hosted installs.
