Guides for Ringostat

Step-by-step setup for the most popular AI clients.

Setting up Ringostat

From the connector definition itself: where to find the credentials, what they need to be allowed to do, and which API this adapter talks to.

Ringostat

This connector uses the Ringostat API (https://api.ringostat.net) of Ringostat, the call tracking and virtual PBX service: the call log with traffic sources, talk times, employees and recordings, the current SIP status of employees, the employee list, a daily SIP online report and the custom Smart Phone statuses. Starting a callback is included but installed switched off.

Setup (about 2 minutes, project administrator)

  1. In Ringostat open Settings, Integrations, Ringostat API and copy the Auth-key into RINGOSTAT_AUTH_KEY. It belongs to one project.
  2. RINGOSTAT_PROJECT_ID is the number of that project: the value after project_id= or projectId= in the address bar of the Ringostat web app. Only the employee, SIP report and custom status tools use it.
  3. Install and run ringostat_list_online_sip to check the key.

Workflow

  • Calls: ringostat_list_calls with from and to as YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS (without them it returns the last 24 hours). The answer is one array with every call of the period, not paginated: keep periods short (a day or a week) on busy projects and ask only for the fields you need. Talk time is billsec in seconds; disposition is the call status; call_type is in, out, callback, transitin or transitout; proper_flag and repeated_flag mark target and repeated calls. Statistics per employee: group the rows by employee_fio and sum billsec.
  • Filters are Ringostat expressions joined by commas, e.g. call_type=in,billsec>=30; sort with order such as calldate desc; merge groups calls by caller.
  • Who is available: ringostat_list_online_sip and ringostat_list_speaking_sip (SIP logins), ringostat_list_employees for names, departments, extensions and directions, ringostat_get_sip_status_report for online and offline time per day, ringostat_list_custom_statuses for the Smart Phone statuses.
  • Recording links in recording and recording_wav stay available for one year. Treat them and phone numbers as personal data.

Callback (switched off): ringostat_start_callback dials immediately and costs call minutes. An admin turns it on deliberately; before each call show the user both numbers and wait for a yes.

Errors: 401 or 403 means a missing or wrong Auth-key (Settings, Integrations, Ringostat API). A JSON-RPC error from the employee, report or status tools usually means a wrong RINGOSTAT_PROJECT_ID; "User does not exist" means the employee filter matched nobody.
