Step-by-step setup for the most popular AI clients.
Setting up Weeek
From the connector definition itself: where to find the credentials, what they need to be allowed to do, and which API this adapter talks to.
Weeek
This connector calls the Weeek Public API (https://api.weeek.net/public/v1) of one Weeek workspace with an API token: projects, boards and columns, tasks with comments, assignees and time entries, tags and members, and the CRM (funnels, deals, contacts, organizations).
Getting credentials (about 1 minute)
- In Weeek, open the workspace settings and the API section.
- Create a token and copy it.
- Paste it into
WEEEK_API_TOKEN. It is sent asAuthorization: Bearer, only to Weeek. Everything the connector does is done as the user who created the token, with that user's access.
Finding ids: weeek_list_projects gives project ids, weeek_list_boards the boards of a project and weeek_list_board_columns the columns of a board. A new task needs locations such as [{"projectId": 12, "boardColumnId": 34}]. weeek_remove_task_from_project takes a task out of one project without deleting it. People are user ids (UUIDs) from weeek_list_members. In the CRM, weeek_list_funnels and weeek_list_funnel_statuses lead to the status id that weeek_list_deals and weeek_create_deal need.
Formats: Weeek wants flags as 0 or 1, not true or false (isPrivate, completed, isOvertime). Task filters and the planned day use dd.mm.yyyy; startDate and dueDate on a task update use YYYY-MM-DD; date-times are ISO 8601. Priority is 0 low, 1 medium, 2 high, 3 hold.
Paging: weeek_list_tasks pages with perPage and offset and answers hasMore; comments, portfolios, deals, contacts and organizations page with limit and offset.
Writes are visible to the team. Creating, moving, completing or commenting on tasks and changing deals notifies other members. Describe the change and wait for the user's yes before any write. weeek_delete_task is installed switched off.
Common errors
- 401: the token is wrong or was deleted. Create a new one in the workspace settings under API.
- 403: the token's user cannot see or change that project or deal.
- 404: an id does not exist in this workspace.
- 422: a field is missing or has the wrong format (often true/false instead of 0/1, or a date in the wrong format); the message names it.
Cloud and self-hosted: both call api.weeek.net over the internet; nothing else differs.
Out of scope here: file uploads, custom field and funnel configuration, timers, and deleting projects, boards, deals or contacts.
