AliExpress Dropshipping

This connector calls the AliExpress Dropshipping API (AliExpress Open Platform, api-sg.aliexpress.com) for your dropshipper account: product search, product and SKU details at your account's prices, delivery options and cost, order status and tracking, and placing orders. Placing orders is installed switched off.

What you need: an AliExpress buyer account activated as a dropshipper, an Open Platform developer account with an app in the Dropshipping category, and an access token for your buyer account. About 20 minutes, plus AliExpress's review of the developer profile and app category.

Setup

1. Sign in to AliExpress with a buyer account (not a seller account) and accept the Dropshipping Program agreement in the DS Center (https://ds.aliexpress.com).
2. At https://openservice.aliexpress.com click Create Account (or sign in), open your profile and choose the developer type Dropshipping (individual) or Dropshipping (corporation). AliExpress reviews the profile.
3. In the App Console click Create, apply for the Dropshipping app category, then create the app with a callback URL of yours (https). The same Open Platform account cannot hold both a Dropshipping and an Affiliate app.
4. On the app's overview page copy the App Key into ALIEXPRESS_DS_APP_KEY and the App Secret (click View) into ALIEXPRESS_DS_APP_SECRET.
5. Get an access token for your buyer account: open the API test tool of the Open Platform (any Dropshipping API page, then the test link, or https://openservice.aliexpress.com/app/index.htm#/api/test), pick your app, click Get Token and sign in with the dropshipper buyer account. Copy the access_token into ALIEXPRESS_DS_ACCESS_TOKEN. Developers with their own OAuth flow can use the token from /auth/token/create instead.
6. While the app is in test status its tokens last about a day; click Apply Online in the console. The console's Auth Management page shows how long tokens of your app category last (for dropshipping apps typically 30 days).

Token expiry: the access token is pasted, not renewed by AnythingMCP. When it expires every call fails with an error_response about the access token (shown as an authentication error): get a new one as in step 5 and update ALIEXPRESS_DS_ACCESS_TOKEN. AliExpress's refresh token does not extend an authorization past the refresh token's own end date (at most about 60 days after authorizing), so a new sign-in is needed periodically anyway. aliexpress_dropshipping_get_member_benefits is a quick check that the token works.

How it signs: every call carries app_key, access_token, method, a millisecond timestamp, sign_method=sha256 and sign, an upper-case HMAC-SHA256 of all parameters sorted by name, keyed with the app secret. The secret never leaves AnythingMCP. A timestamp more than two hours off is refused.

Where to start

• Find products: aliexpress_dropshipping_search_products (keyword, destination country, currency), aliexpress_dropshipping_list_categories for category ids.
• One product: aliexpress_dropshipping_get_product gives the SKUs with their sku_id and sku_attr; aliexpress_dropshipping_get_freight the delivery options for a SKU, quantity and country, with the logistics_service_name to order with.
• After ordering: aliexpress_dropshipping_get_order (status, amounts) and aliexpress_dropshipping_get_tracking (carrier, tracking number, events).
• Ordering: aliexpress_dropshipping_create_order places an order with the customer's address and the items (product_id, product_count, sku_attr, logistics_service_name). It is switched off at install; turn it on in the connector's tools when you want the AI to place orders, and confirm each order. Orders are created unpaid: pay them on AliExpress.

Units and formats: prices are decimal strings in the requested currency; product, SKU and order ids are long numbers, keep them as text. Countries are two-letter codes; locale and language take forms like en_US, target_language lower case (en). Tracking times are Unix milliseconds. Searches page with page_index from 1 and page_size up to 50.

Answers and errors: results sit under aliexpress_ds_<call>_response (or aliexpress_trade_ds_order_get_response), usually in result, with a call-specific success flag (rsp_code, is_success, ret) and message. Gateway refusals come as error_response with a code: an access token code when the token expired or belongs to another app, InvalidAppKey or IncompleteSignature when key and secret do not match, InsufficientPermission when the app lacks the API (check the app category), and call-limit codes when the quota is used up.
