Daftra
This connector calls the Daftra REST API (https://<subdomain>.daftra.com/api2) of one Daftra account with an API key: sales invoices, credit notes and refunds, payments, clients and suppliers, products and stock, purchase invoices, expenses, treasuries and the general ledger (journals and chart of accounts).
Getting credentials (about 2 minutes)
- As a Daftra administrator, open Settings > API > API Keys and click Generate API key.
- Paste the key into
DAFTRA_API_KEYand the first part of your Daftra address intoDAFTRA_SUBDOMAIN(acmeforacme.daftra.com). The key is sent in theAPIKEYheader, only to your Daftra account, and acts with that account's permissions.
Request shape: Daftra wraps every record in its model name. Writes send e.g. {"Journal": {...}, "JournalTransaction": [...]}; the tools build that envelope. Lists answer with data (each row under its model name) and a pagination block; page with page and limit (up to 1000).
Ids: every tool takes the internal id, not the printed number (an invoice no such as 000123). Find ids with the list tools; daftra_list_stores, daftra_list_treasuries and daftra_list_journal_accounts give the ids that documents refer to; tax ids appear on existing invoice lines.
Writes change the books. Invoices, payments, expenses, journals, purchases, refunds and stock movements post to the ledger and stock; daftra_create_treasury and daftra_create_journal_category change the account setup. Describe the change and wait for the user's yes before any write. Installed switched off: the deletes (daftra_delete_invoice, daftra_delete_invoice_payment, daftra_delete_expense, daftra_delete_journal), daftra_update_journal (replaces every line) and daftra_set_invoice_draft_status (issuing is final).
Dates are YYYY-MM-DD; amounts are in the document currency.
Common errors
- 401 or 403: the API key is wrong, deleted or lacks permission; generate a new one.
- 404 on every call: the subdomain is wrong (the part before
.daftra.com). - 400 or 422: a required field is missing or an id does not exist; the message names it.
Cloud and self-hosted: both call the account's own daftra.com subdomain over the internet; nothing else differs.
Out of scope here: estimates, incomes and taxes (405 through the API key), OAuth sign-in, work orders, appointments, staff, time tracking, notes and attachments.
