Odoo (MCP server)
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot to Odoo through Odoo's own MCP server (Odoo AI, Odoo Online saas-19.4 and Odoo 20): search any model, group and total records, list models and fields, and, when your admin allows it, create and update records. Governed by the Odoo user and the AI Tools your admin exposes.

在 Cloud 上安装 OdooClaude 是 AI,可能会出错。请核对回答。
2 分钟设置
- 1在 cloud.anythingmcp.com 开始免费试用。
- 2在连接器商店点击 Odoo (MCP server)。提示时粘贴凭据。
- 3生成 MCP API 密钥,将 AI 客户端指向生成的 MCP URL。

Odoo (MCP server)
This connector bridges the Odoo MCP server, the MCP endpoint Odoo itself serves at https://<your database>/mcp as part of the Odoo AI app. Odoo provides the tools (AI Tools, which are server actions in Odoo) and runs them with the rights of the user who owns the API key; AnythingMCP puts them behind your MCP endpoint with OAuth for Claude and ChatGPT, per-tool roles, the audit log and response mapping, next to your other systems.
Which Odoo connector?
- Odoo (MCP server), this one: for databases that have Odoo's own MCP server (Odoo Online from version saas-19.4, and Odoo 20). The tools, their schemas and which writes are allowed are governed in Odoo, by your Odoo admin.
- Odoo (
odoo, JSON-2 API): for Odoo 19 and newer on Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or your own server, when you want AnythingMCP's fixed tools for partners, sales orders, invoices and products, or your database has no MCP server (Odoo 19.0 itself has none). - Odoo 14-18 (JSON-RPC) (
odoo-jsonrpc): for Odoo 14 to 18. Your version is shown at the bottom of Settings, and a database with an MCP server offers the MCP scope when you create an API key.
Setup (about 5 minutes)
- In Odoo click your avatar > My Preferences (or My Profile) > Security > Add API Key, confirm your password, give the key a name, set Scope to MCP, and choose how long it is valid in Expires. Odoo shows the key once: copy it. Use a dedicated Odoo user whose access rights match what the assistant may see; the key acts as that user.
- Fill in the variables and install:
ODOO_URL: the database address up to the host, for examplehttps://mycompany.odoo.com. The connector callsODOO_URL/mcp.ODOO_MCP_API_KEY: the key from step 1, sent asAuthorization: Bearer <key>and stored encrypted.
- When the key expires, Odoo answers 401: create a new one and paste it here.
The tools come from your database. At install AnythingMCP asks the Odoo MCP server which tools it exposes. By default Odoo exposes Get Models, Get Fields, Search, Read group and MCP Retrieve initial context, all read-only. An admin can expose more (Create Records, Update Records, menus, website and image tools) in developer mode under Settings > Technical > Server Actions, with Available in MCP on the tool's Usage tab; then open the connector here and click Discover tools. Create Records and Update Records install switched off here; turn them on per tool only when the assistant should change Odoo. Image generation spends Odoo AI credits.
Working with it: call odoo_mcp_ai_tool_mcp_retrieve_initial_context once to learn the user, time zone and companies; find the model with odoo_mcp_ai_tool_get_models and its fields with odoo_mcp_ai_tool_get_fields; then query with odoo_mcp_ai_tool_search (domains such as [('state','=','sale'),('date_order','>=','2026-10-01')], always with fields and a limit) or total with odoo_mcp_ai_tool_read_group (groupby: ["date_order:month"], aggregates: ["amount_total:sum"]). Search returns 50 rows by default and at most 200.
Known Odoo quirk: Odoo publishes Get Fields with an empty parameter list, yet the tool fails unless it gets both model_name and include_description (true or false). Always pass both, e.g. {"model_name": "res.partner", "include_description": false}.
Errors: 401 means the key is wrong, expired or was created without the MCP scope; 404 at /mcp means this database has no MCP server (older version, or the AI app is not installed): use the Odoo or Odoo 14-18 (JSON-RPC) connector instead.
