SISTRIX

This connector calls the SISTRIX API (https://api.sistrix.com) with the user's own API key: the SISTRIX Visibility Index (Sichtbarkeitsindex), domain key figures, ranking keywords, competitors, URLs, keyword rankings and metrics, questions and backlinks. Every tool is a read.

Every call spends SISTRIX API credits from the account's weekly allowance. Most functions cost 1 credit per row returned; sistrix_domain_overview costs 5, sistrix_keyword_metrics 5 per keyword, sistrix_links_overview 25. SISTRIX returns 100 rows when no limit is sent (10,000 links for backlinks), so every list tool here defaults to limit 10. sistrix_get_credits and sistrix_list_countries are free. Each answer ends with credits_used.

Setup (about 2 minutes)

1. API access and weekly credits come with SISTRIX plans from Plus upwards.
2. In the SISTRIX Toolbox open Account, API access (https://app.sistrix.com/account/api) and create or copy an API key.
3. Paste it into SISTRIX_API_KEY and install. SISTRIX takes the key as the api_key query parameter; it is stored encrypted, added to each request by the connector, and only sent to api.sistrix.com.

• sistrix_list_countries: supported country codes (free).
• sistrix_domain_overview: Visibility Index, SEO and Ads keyword counts (5 credits).
• sistrix_visibility_index: Visibility Index now, on a date or as history (1 per value).
• sistrix_keyword_count: number of ranking keywords, now or as history (1 per value).
• sistrix_ranking_distribution: keywords per result page (1 per date).
• sistrix_competitors: SEO competitors with similarity (1 per competitor).
• sistrix_ranking_keywords: keywords a domain ranks for, with position and URL (1 per keyword).
• sistrix_top_urls: best-ranking URLs (1 per URL).
• sistrix_traffic_estimation: paths with the most estimated clicks (1 per path).
• sistrix_keyword_opportunities: keywords close to page one (1 per keyword).
• sistrix_keyword_serp: who ranks for a keyword, or a site's ranking history (1 per ranking).
• sistrix_keyword_metrics: competition, CPC, traffic, clicks of a keyword (5).
• sistrix_keyword_traffic: search traffic and clicks, per country or over time (1 per value).
• sistrix_keyword_questions: question queries for a keyword (1 per question).
• sistrix_links_overview: backlink totals (25 credits).
• sistrix_backlinks: backlinks (1 per link, at most 250).
• sistrix_link_texts: anchor texts (1 per text).

What to analyse: domain tools take exactly one of domain (sistrix.de, with all subdomains), host (www.sistrix.de), path (www.sistrix.de/news/) or url (one page). country is a lower-case code (de, at, ch, uk, us, it, fr, es...); without it SISTRIX uses the account's default country, usually de. date (YYYY-MM-DD) asks for the weekly value of a past week.

Reading the answers: answer holds the data, info the country and object analysed, credits_used the credits spent. The Visibility Index appears as sichtbarkeitsindex (value with date). traffic on keywords is SISTRIX's search traffic index from 0 to 100, not visits; competition is 0 to 100.

Common errors (SISTRIX answers {"status": "error", "error": [{"error_code": ..., "error_message": ...}]})

• 100 wrong api key / 403 permission denied: the key is wrong or the plan has no API access (code 5000).
• 200 not enough credits: the weekly credits are used up; sistrix_get_credits shows the balance.
• 1000 no results, 2000 domain not found, 3000 keyword not found: SISTRIX has no data for this object in this country.
• 1002 / 1003 invalid or missing parameters: for example no domain, host, path or url given.
• 429 too many requests: SISTRIX allows 300 requests a minute.

Official MCP server: SISTRIX also runs its own MCP server (https://api.sistrix.com/mcp/, OAuth sign-in) that does not spend API credits; this connector uses the REST API with an API key instead.

Out of scope here: SISTRIX projects (Optimizer), the AI visibility functions, the Amazon marketplace functions, Google Ads (SEM) data and bulk keyword requests.
