Helium 10 + Microsoft Copilot
Research Amazon keywords and products, track rankings, analyse listings and check profits and ad performance from Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot through Helium 10's official MCP server.
Prerequisites
- A Helium 10 Diamond plan or higher (Elite included). MCP comes with 1,000 tool calls a month; the Market Tracker 360, Ads and Walmart tools need those features on the account.
- Nothing to paste: the connector has no environment variables and needs no Helium 10 API token. You sign in with Helium 10 after installing it.
- If you sign in as a sub-user: the MCP permission from the primary account owner (Access Management).
Step 1 — Sign in with Helium 10
Helium 10 runs its own remote MCP server, Helium 10 MCP (https://mcp.helium10.com/mcp). This connector bridges it: the tools are Helium 10's (Magnet and Cerebro keyword research, Black Box product research, Brand Analytics, Keyword Tracker, Listing Analyzer and Listing Builder, Profits, inventory, alerts, Buy Box, reviews, TikTok Shop and influencer research, Market Tracker 360 and Helium 10 Ads), and AnythingMCP puts them behind your AnythingMCP server with its API keys, per-tool roles and audit log, next to your other connectors. Amazon marketplaces: US, UK, DE, JP, CA, AU, FR, ES, IT, NL, PL, SE and MX; Walmart and TikTok Shop: US.
There is nothing to paste: you sign in with Helium 10, and you do not need a Helium 10 API token (h10_mcp_...).
- Install the connector from the catalog. The setup form has no fields.
- On the connector page click Authorize with Provider. AnythingMCP registers itself with Helium 10 as an OAuth client (dynamic client registration) and sends you to the Helium 10 sign-in.
- Sign in, choose the account (sub-users choose the primary account they were granted) and click Authorize. Back in AnythingMCP the tool list is reloaded from Helium 10's server. It only lists the tools your plan and add-ons include (Market Tracker 360, Ads, Walmart); Discover tools on the connector picks up new ones.
Plan and quota. Helium 10 MCP needs a Diamond plan or higher (Elite included). It comes with 1,000 tool calls a month, shared with sub-users; every call, and every extra page of results, counts. helium10_get_mcp_usage_info shows what is left. Ask for specific ASINs, marketplaces and date ranges instead of broad sweeps.
Whose access it is. The person who signs in is the Helium 10 user for everyone who uses this connector, with that user's plan, seller accounts and permissions. A sub-user needs the MCP permission from the primary account owner (Access Management > User Accounts). Connections are listed and revoked in Helium 10 under Settings > MCP > Authorized AI Clients Management. After a long time without use Helium 10 asks you to sign in again: click Authorize with Provider once more.
Switched off at install. Everything that changes Amazon or your ads: helium10_sync_listing_to_amazon (overwrites the live listing), helium10_execute_ads_campaign_mgmt_actions (pauses or creates campaigns, changes bids and budgets) and helium10_manage_ads_rule (bid automation), plus every delete (COGS, indirect costs, tracked keywords and products, keyword notes). Switch any of them on, one tool at a time, on the connector page if you need it. Research, reporting, listing drafts and tracker tags and notes stay on. The Ads tools also need the Ads profile in Managed mode in Helium 10, which carries a 2% fee on ad spend; without it they return FEATURE.ADS_ACCESS_DISABLED.
First calls. Start with helium10_get_my_amazon_seller_accounts or helium10_list_my_products when you have no ASIN, then helium10_get_keywords_by_asin, helium10_search_products or the P&L tools. Always pass the ASIN (10 characters) and the marketplace (default US). Ads Query runs in five steps: platforms, list, schema, materials, then helium10_execute_ads_query. A 401 after it worked means the sign-in expired: authorize again. An empty or shorter tool list means your plan or add-ons do not include those tools.
Step 2 — Install the adapter
curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/HelpCode-ai/anythingmcp/main/docker-compose.quickstart.yml -o docker-compose.yml
printf 'JWT_SECRET=%s\nENCRYPTION_KEY=%s\n' "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" "$(openssl rand -hex 32)" > .env
docker compose up -d
Step 3 — Add the connector in Microsoft Copilot
Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide showsYOUR_SERVER_ID.
Microsoft Copilot uses MCP servers through agents built in Copilot Studio: you add AnythingMCP to an agent as a tool, then publish the agent to Microsoft 365 Copilot and Teams. Copilot Studio connects from Microsoft's cloud over Streamable HTTP, which AnythingMCP supports.
- In Copilot Studio, open your agent (or create one), go to Tools and choose Add a tool → New tool → Model Context Protocol.
- Enter a Server name (for example
AnythingMCP), a Server description that says what the connector does, and the Server URLhttps://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/YOUR_SERVER_ID. Copilot Studio uses the description to decide when to call the server. - Under authentication, choose API key, set Type to Header and the header name to
X-API-Key, then select Create. - In Add tool, choose Create a new connection, paste an MCP API key from AnythingMCP (MCP Servers → your server → API keys) and select Add to agent.
- Try it in the agent's Test pane: ask for something that needs the
Helium 10tools. - Select Publish, then Channels → Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams, keep Make agent available in Microsoft Copilot selected and choose Add channel. See agent in Teams installs it for you; in Microsoft 365 Copilot, type @ and pick the agent.
Prefer per-user sign-in? Choose OAuth 2.0 → Dynamic discovery instead of an API key: each user then signs in to AnythingMCP the first time the agent calls it.
Self-hosting? Use your instance's public HTTPS address instead of https://cloud.anythingmcp.com. Copilot Studio connects from Microsoft's cloud, so localhost does not work.

FAQ
Which Copilot is this for? Microsoft 365 Copilot at work, through agents built in Copilot Studio. The Microsoft Copilot app for personal accounts has no option to add your own MCP server.
What do I need? A work account with access to Copilot Studio (a license or a trial) to build the agent. People who use it in Microsoft 365 Copilot or Teams need access to the agent: share it with them, or ask an admin to publish it to the organization. If your organization applies data policies to Power Platform connectors, they cover MCP servers too.
The agent doesn't call the tools. Check that the header name is exactly X-API-Key and that the key belongs to the same MCP server as the URL, and make the server description specific: Copilot Studio uses it to decide when to call the server. Publish the agent again after each change; in an open chat, type "start over" to get the new version.
