Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:

Step 1 — Get credentials
This connector wraps the Invoiced REST API (api.invoiced.com).
Setup:
- Log into https://app.invoiced.com → Developers → API Keys → Create API Key.
- Set
INVOICED_API_KEY. - Sandbox: for testing, point baseUrl at
https://api.sandbox.invoiced.cominstead.
Authentication: HTTP Basic — API key as username, empty password.
Hierarchy: Customer → Invoice → Line items → Payments. Subscriptions generate recurring invoices automatically.
Pagination: cursor-based via Link headers. Use per_page (max 100) and page (1-based).
Rate limits: 60 req/min per API key, 1k/hr. 429 with Retry-After.

ChatGPT supports MCP servers via the Connectors feature (Plus / Pro / Team / Enterprise plans). The free tier does not support custom connectors.
- Open ChatGPT → Settings → Connectors (or click the 🔧 icon in the composer → Manage connectors).
- Click "Add custom connector".
