Prerequisites
See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:

Step 1 — Get credentials

- Sign in to Reddit → https://www.reddit.com/prefs/apps → Create another app.
- Pick

- Obtain an access token via OAuth2 password grant (for script apps) or auth-code (for web apps). Endpoint:

Authentication: Authorization: Bearer ${REDDIT_ACCESS_TOKEN}. Access tokens expire after 1 hour — your orchestrator must refresh.

Cursor reads MCP servers from ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Add this entry:

- Get your MCP API key from AnythingMCP → Profile → MCP API Keys → New Key.
- Save the file and restart Cursor.
- Open Cursor → Settings → MCP to verify
