Prerequisites

See the full setup instructions baked into the connector (visible in the in-app store when you select the connector). The required environment variables for this connector are:

TIMETASTIC_API_TOKEN

Step 1 — Get credentials

This connector wraps the Timetastic REST API v2 (app.timetastic.co.uk/api).

Setup:

1. Log into https://app.timetastic.co.uk → top-right avatar → Settings → Integrations → API → Generate API token.
2. Set TIMETASTIC_API_TOKEN.

Authentication: Authorization: Bearer ${TIMETASTIC_API_TOKEN}.

Entities: User (employees) → Holiday (leave requests). Each holiday has start/end, type (annual, sickness, etc.), status (approved/declined/pending).

Pagination: most endpoints return everything (paginated only by Start/End filters). Use date windows aggressively.

Rate limits: 60 req/min per token. 429 with Retry-After.

Step 2 — Install the adapter

Step 3 — Add the connector in Cursor

Your server URL: in AnythingMCP, open MCP Servers → the server this connector is on, and copy its URL (https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Use it wherever this guide shows YOUR_SERVER_ID.

Cursor reads MCP servers from ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Add this entry:

1. Get your MCP API key from AnythingMCP → MCP Servers → your server → API keys.
2. Save the file and restart Cursor.
3. Open Cursor → Settings → MCP to verify Timetastic is listed and "Connected".
4. Start chatting — all Timetastic tools are now invokable.
