Come collegare Freshservice a Cursor — via MCP

Freshservice + Cursor

Gestisci Freshservice (ITSM: ticket, problemi, modifiche, asset, agenti, richiedenti, reparti) da qualsiasi agente AI. 10 strumenti, autenticazione basic-auth con chiave API.

Prerequisiti

Le istruzioni di setup complete sono incluse nel connettore stesso (visibili nello store quando lo selezioni). Le variabili d'ambiente richieste sono:

Step 1 — Ottieni le credenziali

This connector wraps the Freshservice API v2 (per-tenant — yourdomain.freshservice.com/api/v2).

Setup:

1. Log into your Freshservice instance → top-right avatar → Profile Settings → View API Key (you may need to log in again to reveal).
2. Note your tenant subdomain (the part before .freshservice.com).
3. Set FRESHSERVICE_SUBDOMAIN (just the subdomain) and FRESHSERVICE_API_KEY.

Authentication: HTTP Basic, with the API key as username and the literal string X as the password: Authorization: Basic base64(API_KEY:X) The adapter sets this via BASIC_AUTH (username = api key, password = 'X'). Using your account password instead of the API key is allowed but discouraged.

Step 2 — Installa l'adapter

Step 3 — Aggiungi il connettore in Cursor

L'URL del tuo server: in AnythingMCP apri MCP Servers → il server su cui si trova questo connettore e copia il suo URL (https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…). Usalo ovunque questa guida mostra YOUR_SERVER_ID.

Cursor legge i server MCP da ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Aggiungi questa voce:

1. Ottieni la tua MCP API key da AnythingMCP → MCP Servers → il tuo server → API keys.
2. Salva il file e riavvia Cursor.
3. Apri Cursor → Impostazioni → MCP per verificare che Freshservice sia presente e "Connected".
4. Inizia a chattare — tutti gli strumenti di Freshservice sono ora invocabili.
