Setting up Bind ERP
From the connector definition itself: where to find the credentials, what they need to be allowed to do, and which API this adapter talks to.
Bind ERP
This connector uses the Bind ERP API (https://api.bind.com.mx), the REST API of Bind ERP, the Mexican cloud ERP for small and medium companies: clients and prospects, providers, products, services, inventory per warehouse, client orders, quotes, sales with their CFDI, purchase orders, expenses, the chart of accounts and journal entries, CRM activities and comments.
Setup (about 5 minutes)
- In Bind ERP click your user name (top right) > Perfil, open the Integraciones tab of the user profile, enter your password and click Generar API Key. Bind issues a long key (a JWT, valid for one year); copy it.
- Paste it into
BINDERP_API_TOKEN. The connector sends it asAuthorization: Bearer <key>. The key acts as the Bind user who generated it, with that user's permissions, so generate it as a user who may see what the assistant needs. - Generate a new key before the year is over and paste it here; an expired key answers 401.
Limits: with the API key alone Bind allows 150 calls every 5 minutes and 5,000 a day. Registering on Bind's developer portal and asking Bind for a subscription doubles that, at no extra cost. Prefer filtered lists over paging through everything.
Lists and filters: list tools take OData options: filter (for example RFC eq 'XAXX010101000', Date ge datetime'2026-10-01T00:00:00', substringof('ACME', LegalName), GUIDs as guid'...'), orderby (Date desc), top and skip. A page holds 50 rows by default; the answer carries value, count and nextLink. Detail tools take the record's ID (a GUID) from the lists.
IDs you will need: many tools and every document need GUIDs of a branch (binderp_list_locations), a warehouse (binderp_list_warehouses), a price list (binderp_list_price_lists) and a currency (binderp_list_currencies). Look them up once per conversation. Inventory per warehouse and products with price and stock need a warehouse and a price list.
Invoices (CFDI): binderp_list_invoices and binderp_get_invoice read sales; binderp_get_invoice_xml returns the stamped CFDI XML (the SAT document) as text. Creating a sale with IsFiscalInvoice true stamps a CFDI with the SAT, which can only be undone by a formal cancellation, so binderp_create_invoice is installed switched off.
Writing: creating and changing clients, prospects, products, orders, quotes and comments are installed switched off. Turn on only the tools you need, and confirm every change with the user. The connector does not register payments, bank movements, inventory adjustments or credit notes.
Errors: 401 means the token is wrong, expired or revoked; 403 the token's user lacks the permission; 404 on a detail tool usually means a wrong or deleted ID.
