idealo (Partner Web Service)

This connector uses idealo's Partner Web Service 2.0 (PWS, https://import.idealo.com), the REST interface idealo gives listed shops to maintain their offers in the idealo price comparison (idealo.de, .at, .fr, .it, .es, .co.uk) one by one instead of, or next to, the product feed. It reads an offer by SKU and, once you switch the tools on, creates, replaces, updates (for example a new price) and removes offers.

Who can use it: shops listed on idealo (a merchant contract with idealo). idealo's former checkout service (Direktkauf) and its order API were shut down in 2023, so there are no orders here: orders come in through your own shop.

Setup (about 3 minutes)

1. Sign in to idealo Business and open Shop settings > API clients (https://business.idealo.com/direct/shops/settings/api-clients).
2. Create an API client with access to the Partner Web Service and copy the client ID and client secret (the secret is shown only once).
3. Paste them into IDEALO_CLIENT_ID and IDEALO_CLIENT_SECRET, and your numeric shop ID (shown in idealo Business) into IDEALO_SHOP_ID. AnythingMCP exchanges the client credentials for an access token at api.idealo.com (valid one hour) and renews it by itself.

Safety: there is no test environment: every write changes your live offers on idealo. idealo_upsert_offer, idealo_update_offer and idealo_delete_offer install switched off; turn on only those the assistant may use, and confirm each change with the user. Deleting all offers at once is deliberately not offered.

Offer format

• Prices are strings with exactly two decimals: "177.99". formerPrice is the price before a reduction.
• An offer needs at least sku, title, price, url, one entry in deliveryCosts (e.g. {"DHL": "4.90"}) and one in paymentCosts (e.g. {"PAYPAL": "0.00"}). Add eans, hans (manufacturer numbers) and brand so idealo can match the product.
• idealo_upsert_offer (PUT) replaces the whole offer; idealo_update_offer (PATCH) changes only the fields sent, but cannot change delivery or payment costs.
• The SKU is part of the URL: letters, digits, underscores, dots and dashes only.

Errors: 401 means the client ID or secret is wrong or the token was refused; 403 that the API client lacks the Partner Web Service right or the shop ID is not yours; 404 that the offer does not exist; 400 lists fieldErrors with the field and reason; 429 means the rate limit (shown in X-RateLimit-Limit) was reached.
