Lodgify

This connector works with the Lodgify vacation rental software through its Public API (https://api.lodgify.com, v2 with some v1 endpoints): properties and room types, availability calendars, nightly rates and rate settings, quotes, bookings and enquiries, message threads, check-in and check-out, key codes and booking status changes.

Setup (2 minutes)

1. In Lodgify (https://app.lodgify.com) open Settings > Public API and copy the API key. The key gives full access to the account; only the account owner can see it.
2. Paste it into LODGIFY_API_KEY. It is sent in the X-ApiKey header.
3. Run lodgify_list_properties to check the key.

Workflow

• Properties: lodgify_list_properties, lodgify_get_property, lodgify_list_property_rooms (room type ids), lodgify_get_room, lodgify_list_deleted_properties, lodgify_list_property_addons, lodgify_list_property_payment_options.
• Free dates: lodgify_get_availability (whole account), lodgify_get_property_availability, lodgify_get_room_type_availability.
• Prices: lodgify_get_rates_calendar (price per night, minimum stay), lodgify_get_rate_settings, lodgify_get_quote (total for a stay with fees, taxes and add-ons).
• Bookings: lodgify_list_bookings (stay_filter Upcoming or Current for the next guests, ArrivalDate with stay_filter_date for today's arrivals), lodgify_get_booking, lodgify_list_external_bookings, lodgify_get_booking_quote, lodgify_get_booking_payment_link.
• New booking: check lodgify_get_room_type_availability and lodgify_get_quote, then lodgify_create_booking, then lodgify_set_booking_booked (or lodgify_set_booking_tentative). Status changes: lodgify_decline_booking, lodgify_reopen_booking. Ask for money with lodgify_request_payment.
• Arrival and departure: lodgify_update_key_codes for the door codes, lodgify_check_in_booking, lodgify_check_out_booking.
• Inbox and messages: lodgify_list_inbox (bookings and enquiries), lodgify_count_unread, lodgify_get_enquiry, lodgify_get_thread with the thread_uid of a booking or enquiry, then answer with lodgify_add_booking_messages or lodgify_add_enquiry_messages and file it with lodgify_mark_booking_replied or lodgify_mark_booking_not_replied.

Messages to guests: lodgify_add_booking_messages and lodgify_add_enquiry_messages with send_notification: true, lodgify_request_payment and request_payment: true on a status change send email to the guest. Show the text to the user and get a yes before sending. Type Comment stores an internal note that the guest does not see.

Reading the answers

• Ids: properties (houses) and room types are integers; a booking id is an integer; a message thread is a GUID (thread_uid).
• Dates are YYYY-MM-DD; check-in and check-out times are HH:mm:ss in the property's time zone; change dates are ISO 8601.
• Amounts are in the property currency (currency_code), in major units (120.5 = 120.50).
• Booking status: Open (request), Tentative, Booked, Declined. source tells the channel (Manual, AirbnbIntegration, BookingCom, ...).

Paging: v2 lists take page (from 1) and size (default 50); pass include_count: true to get the total in count. lodgify_list_inbox uses offset and limit and returns total.

Not covered: rate and availability updates, payment link creation, webhooks and moving bookings to the trash.

Errors: 401 or 403 means a missing or wrong API key, 404 an unknown id, 400 invalid dates or parameters (the body says which), 429 the rate limit: wait and retry.
