pCloud

This connector works with files in pCloud, the Swiss cloud storage, through the official pCloud API (https://api.pcloud.com for US accounts, https://eapi.pcloud.com for EU accounts). It lists folders, reads file details, revisions and small text files, creates download links, lists public links, and can create folders, copy, move and rename files and folders and create public links after you confirm.

Your data region decides the address. pCloud keeps every account either in the United States or in Europe (Luxembourg), chosen at sign-up, and the API only answers for the account's own region. If you sign in to the web app at e.pcloud.com, or chose Europe when you signed up, set PCLOUD_API_HOST to eapi.pcloud.com; at my.pcloud.com (United States) set api.pcloud.com. With the wrong one, Authorize with Provider fails or every call answers "Invalid 'access_token' provided".

Setup (about 5 minutes)

1. Sign in at https://docs.pcloud.com and open My Apps (https://docs.pcloud.com/my_apps/), then Create new app. Choose the access the app gets: its own app folder only, or the whole drive (needed to work with existing files).
2. In the app's settings add the redirect URI https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/api/mcp-oauth/callback on AnythingMCP Cloud, or <your AnythingMCP server URL>/api/mcp-oauth/callback when you host AnythingMCP yourself.
3. Enter the app's Client ID as PCLOUD_CLIENT_ID, its Client secret as PCLOUD_CLIENT_SECRET, and your region host as PCLOUD_API_HOST, then install.
4. Open the connector and click Authorize with Provider, sign in to pCloud and allow access. pCloud's tokens do not expire; there is nothing to renew.

Writes: confirm first. Creating folders, copying, moving or renaming, and creating public links change the drive or make files reachable by anyone with the link. Show the user exactly what will happen (source, destination, new name, link settings) and wait for a clear yes before calling. Moving a file onto an existing file replaces it. pcloud_delete_file and pcloud_delete_folder are installed switched off; deleted items go to pCloud's trash.

How to work

1. pcloud_get_user_info for the account, plan and used space.
2. Browse with pcloud_list_folder, starting at folder_id 0 (the root). Every item has a fileid or folderid; prefer ids over paths.
3. pcloud_stat for one file's details, pcloud_list_revisions for its earlier versions.
4. Contents: pcloud_read_text_file returns the text of a small text file (txt, csv, md, json, html, source code), cut at about 100 KB; check the size with pcloud_stat first. For anything else, pcloud_get_file_link gives a temporary download address: join https://, the first entry of hosts and path.
5. Sharing: pcloud_list_public_links, pcloud_create_file_public_link, pcloud_create_folder_public_link.
6. Organize: pcloud_create_folder, pcloud_copy_file, pcloud_copy_folder, pcloud_move_file, pcloud_move_folder.

Search: the pCloud API has no search. List folders instead, and narrow down by name.

Paths and dates: paths start with / (the root); names are case-sensitive. Dates look like Thu, 21 Mar 2013 18:31:45 +0000 (UTC). Sizes are in bytes.

Errors: pCloud answers errors with HTTP 200 and a result code, which the connector turns into errors.

• 1000, 2000 or 2094 (Log in required, Invalid 'access_token' provided): the token is wrong, revoked, or PCLOUD_API_HOST is the other region. Authorize again.
• 2003: access denied, e.g. an app-folder app reaching outside its folder.
• 2002, 2005, 2009: a folder or file does not exist.
• 2004: the file or folder already exists.
• 2008: the account is over quota.
• 4000: too many requests; wait a minute.

Out of scope: uploading files, deleting (switched off), the trash, sharing folders with other pCloud users, upload links, archives (zip), thumbnails, video and audio streaming, collections, and pCloud Crypto folders (encrypted on the device, unreadable to the API).
