Setting up WANotifier

WANotifier is a WhatsApp marketing and notification tool built on Meta's official WhatsApp Business (Cloud) API. There is no QR code: your number is connected to the API inside WANotifier during onboarding, and Meta bills its per-message fees directly.
Getting credentials: in WANotifier open Automations, then Integrations. Under Direct Integrations click Manage on API Integration, open the API Keys tab and copy My API Key into WANOTIFIER_API_KEY. The key is sent as the key query parameter.
Workflow: start with wanotifier_list_contact_lists and wanotifier_list_contact_tags to learn the IDs, then wanotifier_list_contacts to find people. wanotifier_upsert_contact creates or updates a contact by WhatsApp number.
Sending: wanotifier_send_text_message, wanotifier_send_image_message and wanotifier_send_document_message only work inside an active 24-hour conversation window, i.e. the contact wrote to your number in the last 24 hours. Outside it WhatsApp only accepts approved templates. The REST API has no endpoint for templates: create a Transactional / Integration / API Notification in WANotifier and call its own webhook URL from your system instead. Every send is a real message, so confirm the recipient and the exact content with the user first.
Formats: WhatsApp numbers are E.164 with the plus sign and country code, e.g. +919876543210. Media must be a static public HTTPS file URL (no Google Drive pages): images jpeg or png up to 5 MB, documents txt, pdf, doc(x), xls(x), ppt(x) up to 100 MB.
Pagination and limits: wanotifier_list_contacts takes page and per_page (WANotifier's own default is 1, so the tool asks for 50) and returns total. The API allows 300 requests per minute per key; beyond that it answers 429. WhatsApp separately limits business-initiated conversations per day (250 for a new number, rising with quality and verification) and throughput to 80 messages per second. Paid plans are sized by contact tier, with a 7-day free trial.
