前提条件
完全なセットアップ手順はコネクタ自体に組み込まれています (ストアでコネクタを選択すると表示)。必要な環境変数:

ステップ 1 — 認証情報を取得
- PayPal ビジネスアカウントで developer.paypal.com にサインインし、Apps & Credentials を開きます。上部の切り替えで Sandbox と Live を選べます。それぞれに別のアプリとキーがあります。
- Default Application を使うか Create App をクリックし、タイプに Merchant を選びます。サンドボックスでは、アプリが代理で操作するサンドボックスのビジネスアカウントも選びます。
- アプリを開き、機能の一覧で AI に使わせたいものにチェックを入れます: Invoicing、Transaction Search、Subscriptions（カタログ商品も含みます）、Customer Disputes、Payouts。
- Client ID を
PAYPAL_CLIENT_IDに、Secret key 1（クリックすると表示されます）をPAYPAL_CLIENT_SECRETにコピーします。どちらも同じアプリの、同じ Sandbox または Live のセクションから取得してください。 PAYPAL_API_URLには、サンドボックスのキーならhttps://api-m.sandbox.paypal.com、本番のキーならhttps://api-m.paypal.comを、末尾のスラッシュなしで設定します。- コネクターをインストールします。Authorize with Provider の手順も PayPal の同意画面もありません。コネクターは client ID と secret を使い、あなたの REST アプリとしてサインインします。
- まず
paypal_get_balancesを実行し、キーが正しいアカウントにつながっているか確認します（アプリで Transaction Search が有効になっている必要があります）。
サインイン状態の維持: コネクターは client ID と secret でアクセストークンを取得し、期限が切れる前に自動で更新します。サインインをやり直す必要はありません。
新しい機能の反映には時間がかかります: すでにトークンを発行したアプリに新しく機能を追加した場合、PayPal での反映に最大 9 時間かかることがあります。それまでは該当する呼び出しが 403 NOT_AUTHORIZED を返すため、必要な機能は最初のインストール前にすべてチェックしておいてください。
支払いとメール: paypal_capture_order、paypal_refund_capture、paypal_cancel_subscription は本番アカウントで実際のお金を動かしたり止めたりします。paypal_send_invoice、paypal_remind_invoice、paypal_cancel_invoice は顧客にメールを送ります。AI は実行前に何が起きるか（金額、通貨、顧客、ID）を正確に伝え、あなたの承認を待ちます。売上確定と返金にはリクエスト ID が付くため、再試行しても二重に実行されません。
権限と読み取り専用の設定: アプリが使えるのはチェックを入れた機能だけです。AI に使わせたくない機能はチェックしないでください。読み取り専用にするには、paypal_create_order、paypal_capture_order、paypal_refund_capture、paypal_create_draft_invoice、paypal_send_invoice、paypal_remind_invoice、paypal_cancel_invoice、paypal_cancel_subscription を無効にします。まずはサンドボックスのキーで安全にすべて試せます。
インストール時はオフ: paypal_delete_draft_invoice は、下書きまたは送信予定の請求書を完全に削除します。AI に下書きを削除させたい場合だけオンにしてください。送信済みの請求書は代わりに paypal_cancel_invoice で取り消します。
注文と返金: paypal_create_order の時点では何も請求されません。返される承認リンクを購入者が開いて承認したあとで、初めて paypal_capture_order で代金を回収できます。paypal_refund_capture は売上を全額返金するか、金額を指定すれば一部を返金します。上限は過去の返金を差し引いた残額です。
請求書と取引履歴: paypal_create_draft_invoice で作った請求書は、paypal_send_invoice で送るまでメールされません。督促メールは 1 日 2 回までです。paypal_search_transactions は 1 回の呼び出しで最大 31 日分を扱い（それより長い期間は月ごとに照会します）、3 年前までさかのぼれます。新しい取引と残高は最大 3 時間遅れて反映されます。異議申し立ては 180 日前までさかのぼれます。
よくあるエラー: 401 invalid_client または invalid_token は、client ID か secret が間違っているか、キーの環境が PAYPAL_API_URL と一致していないことを示します（サンドボックスのキーにはサンドボックスの URL、本番のキーには本番の URL が必要です）。403 NOT_AUTHORIZED または PERMISSION_DENIED は、その機能がアプリでチェックされていないか、チェックしてから 9 時間たっていないことを示します。422 UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY は違反した業務ルールを示します。たとえば ORDER_NOT_APPROVED（購入者がまだ承認していない）、AMOUNT_MISMATCH、CAPTURE_FULLY_REFUNDED などです。429 RATE_LIMIT_REACHED は PayPal がアプリのリクエストを制限していることを示します。1 分待ってからやり直してください。
このコネクターは、カード決済と支払い方法の保存（vaulting）、Webhook、Payouts の送金、異議申し立ての受け入れや回答、サブスクリプションプランの編集は扱いません。

ステップ 3 — Cursor にコネクタを追加
サーバーURL: AnythingMCP で MCP Servers を開き、このコネクタがあるサーバーを選んで URL（
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…）をコピーします。このガイドでYOUR_SERVER_IDと表示されている箇所に使ってください。
