前提条件
完全なセットアップ手順はコネクタ自体に組み込まれています (ストアでコネクタを選択すると表示)。必要な環境変数:

ステップ 1 — 認証情報を取得
AnythingMCP は Splunk 公式アプリ Splunk MCP Server（Splunkbase 7931）に接続します。ツールはお使いの Splunk から提供され、AnythingMCP は Claude と ChatGPT 向けの OAuth、ツール単位のロール、監査ログを追加します。
- Splunk 管理者がサーチヘッドに Splunk MCP Server をインストールし、トークン認証を有効にします。
- AI が使うロールに
mcp_tool_executeケイパビリティと、読み取りを許可するインデックスだけを付与します。インデックスやルックアップに書き込めないロールを選んでください。Splunk 自身がsplunk_run_queryをデータを変更しうるツールとしてマークしています。 - Splunk MCP Server アプリで、そのユーザー用の暗号化された MCP トークンを生成します。通常の Splunk ユーザートークンは "invalid token audience" で拒否されます。
- Splunk Cloud Platform では、AnythingMCP の接続元アドレスをポート 8089 で許可します（Admin Config Service の search API 用 IP 許可リスト）。AnythingMCP Cloud の場合は、送信元 IP をサポートにお問い合わせください。
- AnythingMCP のカタログから Splunk を、
SPLUNK_HOST（例：yourstack.splunkcloud.com、https://は不要）とSPLUNK_MCP_TOKENを指定してインストールします。インストール時にサーバーが提供するツールが取り込まれ、ダッシュボード用の 2 つのツールは無効の状態で始まります。

ステップ 3 — ChatGPT にコネクタを追加
サーバーURL: AnythingMCP で MCP Servers を開き、このコネクタがあるサーバーを選んで URL（
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…）をコピーします。このガイドでYOUR_SERVER_IDと表示されている箇所に使ってください。
ChatGPT は開発者モード（Developer mode）で MCP サーバーをカスタムアプリとして接続します。有料プランで利用でき、無料プランでは使えません。Business・Enterprise のワークスペースでは、先に管理者が許可する必要がある場合があります。
- ChatGPT で Settings → Security and login を開き、Developer mode をオンにします。
- chatgpt.com/plugins を開き、+ をクリックします。
- 名前と短い説明を入力します（例: Name:
Splunk）。 - Connection に MCP サーバー URL
