Mangools (KWFinder, SERPChecker, SERPWatcher, LinkMiner, SiteProfiler, AI Search Watcher)

This connector calls the official Mangools REST API at https://api.mangools.com/v3 with the account's API key in the x-access-token header. It reads keyword research, SERP analysis, backlinks, domain profiles, rank tracking and AI search visibility. It does not create or change anything in the account.

Setup. Log in at mangools.com and copy the API key from mangools.com/api-token. Every plan includes API access; quotas follow the plan.

Quota first. Most research tools spend the plan's lookups: related and competitor keywords and keyword metrics spend keyword lookups, keyword SERP and SERPChecker spend SERP lookups, backlinks spend backlink rows (one per returned link), URL metrics have their own daily pools. Repeating an identical lookup within 24 hours is free (except keyword metrics). mangools_get_limits shows what is left. Tools that read saved data (keyword lists, lookup history, trackings, tracked keywords, AI monitors, locations) do not spend quota.

Rate limits. API-key clients may send 3 requests per 30 seconds per resource pool, so leave about 11 seconds between calls to the same tool family. A 429 with error.type RateLimit means wait retry_after seconds (30) and send the same request once; CreditLimit means the quota is spent and waiting does not help. Send calls one at a time, never in parallel (the gateway also refuses more than 4 requests a second per IP).

Locations and languages. location_id is a Google geotarget id: 2840 United States, 2276 Germany, 2826 United Kingdom, 2380 Italy; 0 means anywhere. Find others with mangools_search_locations. language_id is a Google Ads language id (1000 English, 1001 German, 1004 Italian); 0 means any.

Order of calls. Keyword research: mangools_get_related_keywords, then mangools_get_keyword_serp for the difficulty and top results of a chosen keyword. Competitors: mangools_get_competitor_keywords first, then mangools_get_competitor_domains (free, but only after it). Domains: mangools_get_site_overview first; backlink profile, top content, competitors and audience fail with 429 Not in history without an overview of the same URL in the last 24 hours. Rank tracking: mangools_list_trackings, then mangools_get_tracking_detail for keyword ids and mangools_get_tracking_stats for positions over a date range.

Reading values. Keyword difficulty (kd / rank) is 0 to 100. sv is the average monthly search volume over 12 months, msv the monthly history. Dates are YYYY-MM-DD.

Errors. 401: wrong or revoked API key. 402: valid request that Mangools could not complete. 403: the plan does not include this tool. 422: missing prerequisite lookup.
